  • • In this dynamic role, you will be the frontline IT support for our diverse user base, ensuring seamless operation of their technology. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from the meticulous repair, rebuilding, and replacement of desktop and laptop systems to resolving critical issues with phone systems, including dial tone and other related functionalities. You will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and functionality of our IT infrastructure, directly impacting the efficiency and effectiveness of our care delivery.
  • • A significant aspect of this position involves providing comprehensive hands-on and remote workstation and end-user support. This means you will be adept at diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems, configuring new equipment, and guiding users through technical challenges. Your ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to non-technical users will be paramount to your success.
  • • You will be a key player in our Support Center, diligently responding to incoming calls, emails, and support tickets. Your primary objective will be the swift and effective resolution of end-user issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring that our team members have the tools they need to focus on resident care. This requires a systematic approach to problem-solving and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • • Documentation and inventory management are crucial components of this role. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of hardware and software assets, ensuring that our IT inventory is up-to-date and readily accessible. This meticulous attention to detail supports efficient resource management and aids in future IT planning and procurement.
  • • Beyond general workstation support, you will also provide specialized support for our organization-wide Hikvision Camera System, ensuring its optimal performance and reliability. Furthermore, you will offer support for our server-based Nurse and Emergency Call Systems, critical components that enhance resident safety and communication.
  • • This role demands flexibility and a willingness to travel. You will undertake frequent day trips to our current and future Otterbein locations to address issues that require an on-site presence. This travel is essential for maintaining a consistent level of IT support across all our facilities and for building strong relationships with the teams at each location.
  • • As part of a dedicated IT team, you will also participate in an after-hours support call rotation. This ensures that urgent issues are addressed promptly, even outside of standard business hours, demonstrating our commitment to continuous support and operational resilience.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting the IT needs for multiple locations.
  • • Proven proficiency with MS Office Suite of products, including Microsoft 365.
  • • Knowledge and working experience with Active Directory.
  • • Knowledge and working experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
  • • Strong understanding of network cabling and basic network troubleshooting.
  • • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a customer-first mentality.
