  • • Diamond Grading Associate at Nivoda Limited is a critical role responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of diamonds, melee, gemstones, and jewellery products as they move through the company’s Amsterdam-based operations hub. This position directly supports Nivoda’s mission to be the leading global B2B jewellery marketplace by maintaining rigorous quality control standards that uphold customer trust and product excellence in a fast-growing, innovative environment.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting same-day quality control on 100% of incoming diamonds, melee, gemstones, and jewellery orders to ensure timely processing; performing internal and external quality audits to evaluate product performance and drive continuous improvement; collaborating with suppliers to reduce quality rejection rates through feedback and corrective guidance; investigating and resolving quality issues by identifying root causes, implementing fixes, and preventing recurrence; continuously reviewing and refining QC methodologies to enhance efficiency and minimize errors; maintaining a strong focus on melee and inventory management accuracy; and assisting with the logistics of shipping orders from the Netherlands hub to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
  • • The role sits within Nivoda’s global operations team, which spans key markets including London, New York, Hong Kong, and Mumbai, and is part of a bold, innovative culture dedicated to transforming the traditional jewellery industry through technology, transparency, and relentless execution.   • • The Diamond Grading Associate will gain hands-on expertise in diamond and gemstone grading under the mentorship of a gemmologist with 12 years of industry experience, develop advanced skills in quality process improvement and supplier collaboration, and build a foundation for career growth in jewellery quality assurance, operations, or gemmology within a rapidly scaling international company.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 6 months hands-on experience with diamonds, gemstones, or melee in a grading, quality control, or jewellery-related role
  • • Preferred certification as a Certified Diamond Grader or equivalent formal education in gemmology
  • • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data tracking, reporting, and analysis of QC metrics
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly document findings, present recommendations, and liaise with suppliers and internal teams
  • • Exceptional attention to detail and precision in executing grading tasks, audit procedures, and inventory management
