- • Own and grow Stream’s presence across key developer communities including Discord, X/Twitter, and Reddit by engaging authentically with members, answering questions, and sparking conversations—not just promoting.
- • Surface developer feedback from online communities to internal product and engineering teams to inform product development and messaging.
- • Monitor and report on community health metrics including growth, engagement, and sentiment across developer channels.
- • Identify, evaluate, and manage sponsorship opportunities with developer-focused YouTube channels, newsletters, podcasts, and independent writers.
- • Build and maintain relationships with content creators and developer influencers aligned with Stream’s audience and brand values.
- • Negotiate and coordinate sponsored-content deliverables while ensuring quality and consistent brand messaging.
- • Track ROI of sponsorship and partnership campaigns and iterate based on performance data to improve outcomes.
- • Drive the strategy, execution, and optimization of Stream’s developer email program including newsletters, announcements, and lifecycle messaging.
- • Partner with content and Developer Relations teams to craft messaging, segment audiences thoughtfully, and align campaigns with developer needs.
- • Measure email performance metrics including open rates, click-through rates, and downstream signups to continuously improve program effectiveness.
- • Maintain consistency and trust in Stream’s developer-facing brand voice across all channels including social, email, and sponsored content.
- • Take initiative without waiting for a predefined backlog and expand ownership over time as programs demonstrate impact.
- • Use data-aware practices to track work, analyze results, and make iterative improvements to marketing programs.
- • Apply AI tools actively in daily workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in marketing execution.
- • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Developer Relations teams to execute programs that drive developer adoption and growth.
- • Work hybrid in Stream’s Boulder, Colorado office with an expectation of 3 days per week in-office attendance.
- • Contribute to a culture of transparency, excellence, and mutual support within a globally diverse team of over 140 employees.
🎯 Requirements
- • Hands-on social and email marketing experience—personally run social channels and email programs, not just observed them.
- • Comfort engaging with developers or genuine eagerness to learn technical communities and hold authentic conversations in spaces like Discord or Reddit.
- • Strong, clear, concise writing ability with skill in matching and maintaining a distinct brand voice.
- • Strong organization and self-direction to manage multiple priorities including social, email, and sponsorship pipelines without dropping tasks.
- • Data-aware mindset: track performance metrics and use insights to improve outcomes.
- • Active, applied use of AI tools in daily work.
