Full Job Description

📋 Description

  • Twilio is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Digital Programs Manager to join our innovative team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of communications. In this fully remote position, based in Canada, you will be instrumental in building and scaling our top-of-funnel awareness and customer advocacy engines. Your primary focus will be on creating high-impact content and executing pipeline-generating programs that resonate with our target audience, particularly developers and businesses leveraging communication technologies.
  • You will take ownership of our flagship virtual event series, Twilio Talks, transforming it into a premier platform for thought leadership and customer engagement. This involves meticulously planning the editorial calendar, strategically recruiting compelling speakers, overseeing end-to-end production, managing live operations, and driving registration, attendance, and impactful post-event engagement. A key aspect of this role will be the creative repurposing of event content into various formats to maximize reach and impact.
  • A significant part of your mandate will be to develop and launch our User-Generated Content (UGC) engine from the ground up. This exciting initiative requires designing engaging prompts and targeted campaigns to solicit customer stories, code samples, valuable tips, insightful reviews, and powerful testimonials. You will be responsible for moderating all submissions, managing necessary rights and permissions, developing effective incentive programs to encourage participation, and amplifying the best UGC through strategic marketing campaigns.
  • You will be the architect of multi-channel promotion plans, orchestrating campaigns across email, web, social media, community forums, and in-product channels. This will involve close collaboration with Product Marketing Managers (PMM), Marketing Operations, and Sales teams to ensure precise targeting and compelling messaging that drives engagement and conversion.
  • To ensure scalability and consistency, you will develop comprehensive playbooks, standardized templates, and stringent quality standards for repeatable program production. This will enable efficient execution and maintain a high level of quality across all digital initiatives.
  • This role demands strong project management capabilities. You will own project plans, meticulously manage timelines, oversee budgets, coordinate with external agencies and vendors for services such as editing, design, and platform management, and ensure all contracts are managed effectively.
  • A critical component of your success will be defining and rigorously measuring program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will be responsible for establishing dashboards, tracking key metrics, and presenting insightful analysis and actionable recommendations to leadership to inform strategic decisions and resource allocation.
  • You will be tasked with reporting on program impact and insights, using performance data and audience feedback to continuously iterate and optimize strategies. This data-driven approach will ensure that our digital programs are not only engaging but also deliver measurable business results and contribute significantly to Twilio's growth objectives.
  • Twilio is committed to a remote-first work environment, fostering a strong culture of connection, global inclusion, and diverse experiences. As a Digital Programs Manager, you will contribute to this culture by creating programs that empower developers and businesses, turning customer outcomes into compelling narratives that drive thought leadership, build community, and generate tangible business impact. Your work will directly influence how the world interacts through communication technology, making your role both challenging and incredibly rewarding.
  • You will also be encouraged to explore and apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) within marketing workflows and customer experience. This could involve leveraging AI for personalization, gaining deeper customer insights, or automating routine tasks, ensuring Twilio remains at the forefront of technological innovation in its marketing efforts.
  • This position reports directly to the Senior Manager, Digital Lifecycle Programs, providing a clear reporting structure and opportunities for mentorship and career development within a rapidly growing organization.

🎯 Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in digital program management, with a focus on webinars/events, podcasts, content marketing, or customer advocacy within the B2B SaaS industry. Experience engaging with a developer audience is a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in campaign operations, utilizing tools such as Marketo, Salesforce, webinar platforms (e.g., Bigmarker), and podcasting tools (e.g., Riverside).
  • Demonstrated success in designing, executing, and optimizing demand generation programs that yield measurable results and contribute to pipeline growth.
  • A strong data-driven mindset, with proven experience in using data to inform decision-making, guide resource allocation, and set up UTM parameters, dashboards, BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau), and experimentation frameworks.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for applying AI to marketing workflows and enhancing customer experiences through personalization, insights, or automation.
  • Excellent program and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively align diverse stakeholders and manage multiple projects, priorities, and teams simultaneously.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, essential for driving alignment, setting clear expectations, ensuring timely delivery of collaborative work, and achieving overall program success.

🏖️ Benefits

  • Competitive salary and bonus structure, with an estimated pay range of $99,760 - $124,700 CAD and a target bonus percentage of 12.5%.
  • Comprehensive healthcare, retirement savings program, and generous time off, including ample parental and wellness leave.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth within a leading global communications platform company.
  • Fully remote work environment based in Canada, offering flexibility and work-life balance.
  • Potential eligibility for additional compensation and benefits, including incentive programs, commissions, and equity grants, depending on the role and performance.
