- • Lead and execute client engagements in Strategic FP&A, directing teams of consultants, managing work streams to agreed timelines, and ensuring quality control of all client deliverables.
- • Serve as primary relationship manager for clients and private equity sponsors, handling communications and addressing financial and operational needs throughout engagement lifecycles.
- • Drive and embed Accordion’s proprietary know-how, best practices, and execution methodologies across all client projects to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes.
- • Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify new opportunities, cultivate client relationships, and support marketing efforts for prospective engagements in Europe.
- • Work directly with client management teams to assess needs, develop proposals, and design detailed work plans for new client engagements.
- • Contribute to practice development by building and maintaining execution toolkits, resources, and Accordion’s consulting knowledge hub for key service areas.
- • Lead and participate in consultant teach-ins, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing exercises to elevate team capabilities and standardize delivery.
- • Travel extensively across Europe to support client engagements in multiple jurisdictions, with regular on-site presence required.
- • Mentor junior consultants, providing guidance on performance, career development, and professional growth within the firm.
- • Actively participate in recruiting, onboarding, and performance review processes for new and existing consultants across engagement teams.
- • Demonstrate exceptional financial modeling and valuation expertise using advanced Excel skills to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations.
- • Communicate complex financial and operational concepts clearly and persuasively to clients, sponsors, and internal teams through oral and written presentations.
- • Balance hands-on project execution with leadership responsibilities, managing multiple complex workstreams while maintaining focus on individual deliverables.
- • Embody entrepreneurial spirit by contributing to the growth and shaping of Accordion’s European footprint in London, operating within a flat, agile organizational structure.
- • Maintain the highest standards of integrity, client service, and attention to detail in all interactions and deliverables.
- • Foster a collaborative team environment, working effectively across all levels of the organization and leading by example in professionalism and work ethic.
- • Possess deep understanding of the dynamics between private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies to deliver contextually relevant, value-creating solutions.
