📋 Description
- • Lead the Brazil entity for Coins.ph, a leading and regulated crypto brand in the Philippines with over 18 million users, ensuring alignment with Brazilian financial regulations and virtual asset service provider (VASP) standards.
- • Oversee governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, operational integrity, and technology oversight for the Brazil operations in coordination with senior management and stakeholders.
- • Support the company’s mission to maintain strong governance, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance across key business functions in Brazil’s financial services and virtual assets landscape.
- • Drive strategic initiatives that uphold the company’s reputation as a trusted, regulated crypto entity while expanding its footprint in Brazil under applicable central bank and financial authority guidelines.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology systems and operational processes meet both local regulatory requirements and global best practices for financial institutions and VASPs.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in a director-level role within financial services, virtual assets, or regulated fintech environments, preferably with exposure to Brazilian regulations.
- • Deep expertise in at least one of the following: governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, operational integrity, or technology oversight in financial institutions or VASPs.
- • Strong understanding of Brazilian financial regulations and compliance frameworks applicable to virtual asset service providers.
- • Ability to work effectively with senior management, regulators, and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to legal and operational standards.
- • Demonstrated leadership in building resilient, compliant, and scalable operations in complex financial or tech-driven environments.
