  • • As Director, Business Development at Syneos Health, you will drive sales growth across an assigned geographic territory by blending strategic account farming with targeted hunting activities to expand existing accounts and pursue new opportunities.
  • • Day to day, you will develop and execute sales strategies, manage territory performance using data-informed prioritization, identify and nurture key client relationships, lead multi-touchpoint sales strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams to co-develop solutions, act as a client champion internally, educate clients on Syneos Health’s value proposition, conduct territory performance reviews and forecasts, maintain CRM records, stay current on industry trends, and represent the company at client meetings and industry events.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s Degree required, advanced degree preferred
  • • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or biopharma in a business development, commercial, or strategic sales role
  • • Proven success managing complex B2B sales cycles and navigating mid- to executive-level client relationships
  • • Strong consultative selling skills with ability to uncover client needs and co-create impactful solutions
  • • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation abilities with a collaborative leadership style
  • • Highly organized with ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • • Data-driven decision maker with strong business acumen and strategic thinking capability
  • • Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms; Microsoft Office Suite experience required
  • • Ability to travel up to 40% for client meetings, conferences, and internal events
