- • Lead end-to-end execution of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and divestitures across domestic and international markets as part of the organization’s inorganic growth strategy.
- • Direct cross-functional teams including Legal, Finance, HR, Strategy, and Information & Technology to coordinate due diligence workstreams and ensure disciplined transaction execution with risk mitigation.
- • Source, evaluate, and analyze strategic transaction opportunities through comprehensive financial modeling, valuation analyses, and risk/return assessments to drive capital allocation and enterprise growth decisions.
- • Partner with external advisors such as investment banks, valuation firms, and legal counsel to guide negotiations, manage deal timelines, and secure successful transaction outcomes.
- • Synthesize market intelligence and healthcare industry trends to proactively identify actionable inorganic growth opportunities that enhance competitive positioning and financial sustainability.
- • Maintain strategic oversight of the transaction pipeline, ensuring disciplined prioritization and long-term planning for growth initiatives across priority markets.
- • Prepare and present executive-level decision materials with actionable insights and recommendations to the Executive Leadership Committee (ELC), CEO, CFO, CSO, and Board for system-level approval and resource allocation.
- • Conduct strategic assessments of market opportunities to support enterprise-wide growth objectives and expand the organization’s capabilities and market reach.
- • Ensure alignment of all transaction activities with the organization’s long-term financial sustainability and strategic objectives.
- • Monitor healthcare market dynamics, industry consolidation trends, and competitive positioning to inform proactive business development strategies.
- • Serve as a key advisor to senior executive leadership on transaction-related matters, providing data-driven recommendations and strategic guidance.
- • Manage five or fewer direct reports, providing leadership and oversight to the business development team.
- • Operate in a fully remote capacity with no physical office requirement, supporting enterprise-wide initiatives across all U.S. states.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8–10 years of experience in M&A and/or the healthcare industry
- • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required)
- • Proven expertise in mergers and acquisitions, business development, divestitures, and joint ventures
- • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and budgeting skills
- • Executive presence and ability to present complex data to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- • Knowledge of the healthcare industry and market dynamics
