📋 Description

• Advise business teams on applicable regulatory, payment scheme, and partner requirements to ensure compliance at every stage of the product lifecycle
• Collaborate with Legal, Partnerships, and Risk teams to streamline business requirements and provide strategic recommendations for control development
• Conduct targeted risk assessments and testing to validate the effectiveness of controls for new and existing products and features
• Support independent assessments, regulatory exams, and partner diligence requests as needed
• Maintain compliance policies that align product innovation with evolving regulatory obligations and industry standards
• Serve as a key advisor to Product, Engineering, and Operations teams on domestic and international money movement and digital asset compliance
• Partner across control functions to streamline compliance requirements and enable responsible scaling of Ramp’s financial offerings
• Utilize AI to analyze regulatory frameworks, design risk controls, and scale compliance programs efficiently
• Ensure compliance with BSA/AML and Sanctions programs, including KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, and OFAC/sanctions screening across traditional and digital asset rails
• Navigate U.S. and international financial services regulatory compliance related to money movement, licensing regimes, and digital asset products
• Influence system design and technical architecture to embed compliance automation and scalability into product development
• Build or mature compliance programs in high-growth, fast-paced fintech environments
• Communicate complex regulatory requirements clearly to non-compliance stakeholders through documentation, advocacy, and cross-functional alignment
• Conduct research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving financial regulations impacting Ramp’s global product roadmap
• Represent Ramp in interactions with regulatory bodies and external partners as required for compliance validation and oversight
• Ensure compliance systems and frameworks support Ramp’s scale of over $100B in annualized spend across 50,000+ companies

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of financial services experience in product compliance, risk, or related regulatory advisory roles—preferably in fintech
• Expert knowledge of BSA/AML and Sanctions programs, specifically focused on KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, and OFAC/sanctions screening across traditional and digital asset rails
• Familiarity with U.S. and international financial services regulatory compliance related to money movement, licensing regimes, and digital asset products
• Proven experience working with technical teams and influencing system design, with an emphasis on automation and scale
• Track record of building or maturing compliance programs, especially in high-growth or fast-paced environments
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills; comfortable operating at the intersection of product, engineering, legal, operations, and external partners
