- • The Business Development Director (Sales) DACH, France and Southern Europe is responsible for driving new business growth and expanding existing client relationships for Drug Discovery & Pre-Clinical Development services, playing a critical role in Evotec’s commercial success across key European markets.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead qualification to contract closure, maintaining a robust CRM pipeline, conducting client meetings and capability presentations, and collaborating with Operations, Proposals, and Marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- • Evotec SE is a leading global drug discovery and development partner, serving pharmaceutical and biotech clients with integrated solutions across the value chain, and this role operates within a high-impact, commercially focused team dedicated to expanding market presence in DACH, France, and Southern Europe.
- • The role offers the opportunity to shape regional commercial strategy, build long-term strategic partnerships with key decision-makers in the life sciences industry, and develop expertise in complex scientific service sales while contributing directly to revenue growth and market expansion.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related field
- • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in a CRO, CDMO, biotech service provider, or pre-clinical research environment
- • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- • Willingness to travel extensively (40%+)
- • Established network within the biotech and/or pharmaceutical sectors (desired)
- • Experience selling complex scientific or technical services (desired)
