- • The Director, Business Operations, Inventory Planning at Babylist will build, scale, and elevate the operational and systems backbone that powers how Babylist plans and manages inventory, ensuring teams have the systems, processes, tools, and data needed for accurate forecasting and confident inventory placement at scale.
- • Day to day, the role involves leading major cross-functional initiatives, owning and evolving inventory planning systems and tech stack (including Intuendi, EDI, and internal forecasting systems), driving improvements in demand planning, WOS management, and purchase order execution, and leading teams across Business Operations, Planning Ops, and Item Setup to guide daily work and drive adoption of new tools and processes.
- • Babylist is the leading registry, e-commerce, and content platform for growing families, serving over 9 million shoppers annually with more than $500 million in 2024 revenue and over $1 billion in annual GMV, operating as a remote-first company with team members across the U.S. and Canada that uses AI as an everyday expectation and values impact-driven, execution-focused talent.
- • In this role, the person will own outcomes across a complex, evolving inventory planning ecosystem, build processes from scratch in ambiguous environments, improve forecast accuracy and scalability, drive cross-functional alignment, and develop leadership skills while scaling systems that support Babylist’s continued growth in the $320 billion baby product industry.
