- • Own and lead OpenAI’s certification initiative as a company-wide strategic program spanning Product, Customer Education, GTM, and Partnerships.
- • Define the architecture, roadmap, and operating model for OpenAI’s certification system, ensuring alignment with rapidly evolving AI product capabilities.
- • Develop frameworks to measure practical AI proficiency using real-world workflows and product usage, rather than theoretical knowledge.
- • Translate complex product functionalities into structured, credible certification pathways that reflect actual user capabilities.
- • Partner directly with product teams to integrate certification systems with OpenAI’s platform, learning tools, and evaluation infrastructure.
- • Influence product development to support features that enable learning, skill assessment, and competency validation for users.
- • Design a scalable certification architecture capable of serving millions of learners globally while maintaining rigorous standards and signal value.
- • Ensure certification pathways are deeply integrated with OpenAI’s broader learning programs, educational initiatives, and workforce readiness goals.
- • Drive alignment across Product, GTM, Customer Education, and Partnerships to unify strategy, execution, and messaging around certification programs.
- • Build shared understanding across teams on how certifications reinforce enterprise adoption of OpenAI’s technologies and support workforce transformation.
- • Establish systems and governance models to maintain credibility, consistency, and integrity as the certification program scales across regions and user segments.
- • Work closely with leaders across the organization to ensure certifications accurately represent real product capabilities and drive measurable outcomes.
- • Shape the long-term trajectory of OpenAI’s certification program as a foundational element in how AI skills are recognized and validated globally.
- • Ensure certification systems evolve in tandem with product updates, new model releases, and emerging use cases across developer and enterprise audiences.
- • Maintain focus on delivering high-signal credentials that organizations trust to evaluate AI competency in hiring, training, and deployment contexts.
- • Operate autonomously in ambiguous environments, defining new programs where no prior operating model exists.
- • Influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders without direct authority to advance certification strategy and execution.
- • Champion the role of certification in democratizing access to AI skills and supporting equitable workforce development in an AI-driven economy.

- • Led large, cross-functional strategic initiatives involving product, education, and go-to-market teams
- • Comfortable defining new programs where the operating model does not yet exist
- • Can influence multiple teams and senior leaders without direct authority
- • Experience building for developer or technical audiences
