- • As a Director, Client Partner at Tinuiti, you will be instrumental in driving client success and growth by owning strategic, executive-level relationships for a dedicated portfolio of accounts. This pivotal role involves crafting integrated, multi-channel marketing plans meticulously aligned with client objectives, and leading critical client interactions that translate complex insights into actionable decisions. You will be the architect of client strategies, ensuring that every plan is measurable, impactful, and directly contributes to the client's business goals. Your expertise will be crucial in interrogating briefs, applying competitive and scenario-based thinking, and expertly navigating cross-functional trade-offs to deliver predictable, high-quality outcomes.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of client management and strategic planning. You will own the end-to-end integrated, multi-channel planning process for your assigned accounts, presenting these comprehensive plans at key client touchpoints. This includes aligning annual, quarterly, and campaign-specific plans with overarching business objectives, clearly defining trade-offs, channel roles, pacing, and investment recommendations. For ambiguous briefs, complex multi-market or multi-brand needs, long-lead channels, or transformational strategic questions, you will collaborate with Strategic Planning teams. A core part of your role will be building and nurturing trusted relationships with director and VP-level client stakeholders, proactively expanding the stakeholder map, and skillfully neutralizing potential risks and political headwinds. You will be responsible for connecting investment and testing recommendations directly to measurable outcomes, leading forecasting and scenario modeling (e.g., CAC, ROAS, revenue, reach, lift) to identify opportunities for waste reduction and areas for scaling investment. Driving performance, optimization, and transparency will be paramount, leading client touchpoints that convert data-driven insights into clear decisions and actionable next steps. Furthermore, you will lead or co-lead new business pursuits alongside the Business Development team, shaping compelling solutions, defining scopes, and crafting narratives that powerfully showcase Tinuiti's integrated, cross-channel value proposition.
- • You will also play a key role in championing a product-led and data-driven approach. This involves building and demonstrating a deep, working knowledge of Tinuiti's proprietary Bliss Point App Suite, acting as an early adopter and connecting its features, data structures, and limitations to client priorities and decision-making processes. You will construct action-driving narratives using the App's outputs, articulating the "what, so what, and now what" for clients. Setting high standards for instrumentation and data hygiene, ensuring robust quality assurance, and effectively triaging issues will be essential. You will channel structured feedback to the Product team, advocating for measurable adoption and high-quality usage across your teams, and linking these use cases to client retention, cross-sell opportunities, and overall performance improvements. Your role extends to defining clear success measures by objective (awareness, consideration, conversion) and partnering closely with Analytics and Econometrics teams to design appropriate measurement approaches, such as Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) or incrementality studies, including defining how and when results will be interpreted and establishing necessary trade-offs and guardrails. Synthesizing multi-source, multi-channel data into clear, compelling stories and investment cases, complete with expected impact and confidence ranges, will be a regular part of your work, presenting clients with actionable options and recommendations. Anticipating and resolving data and quality assurance issues, leading critical escalations, monitoring outcomes, conducting after-action reviews, and updating assumptions and recommendations for subsequent client touchpoints will be crucial for maintaining client trust and driving continuous improvement.

You will also gain invaluable experience in executive-level client relationship management, strategic multi-channel planning, advanced data analysis and interpretation, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results. Proactively identifying well-framed cross-sell and growth opportunities, partnering with BD and practice leads, and serving as a pursuit lead for strategic wins will be integral to your success. Building strong internal coalitions across Product, Analytics, Channels, and Ops/Finance to unlock client outcomes, and owning the results for your clients while holding partners accountable for operational excellence, will define your leadership impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years in client leadership within performance marketing, with a focus on scaling Small and Medium-sized Businesses, demonstrating repeated success in driving growth and efficiency.
- • 4+ years of people leadership experience, including managing individual contributors and managers, with proven ability in hiring, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
- • Proven experience in executive relationship leadership and expectation setting, with a demonstrated aptitude for navigating complex alignment and change leadership scenarios.
- • Cross-channel literacy across Search, Social, Display/TV & Audio, Commerce/Retail Media, Lifecycle/CRM, and Creative, coupled with strong measurement acumen including forecasting, KPI trees, and familiarity with MMM/incrementality concepts.
- • Fluency with Bliss Point App Suite or similar platforms, enabling the translation of MMM, incrementality, forecasting, brand, and creative insights into actionable investment and testing decisions, and effective partnership with Product and Analytics teams.
- • Financial fluency through partnership, with the ability to read and interpret margin/utilization, pricing constructs, staffing/capacity signals, and forecasts, and to hold Ops/Finance accountable for excellence without executing those mechanics.
- • BA/BS degree required; an advanced degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
