- • As Director, Commercial at Risepoint Holdings LLC, you will serve as a strategic leader driving revenue growth and market expansion for an education technology company dedicated to increasing access to affordable, workforce-focused online degree programs for working adults and underserved student populations. Your role is critical in shaping how Risepoint partners with regional universities to scale high-impact programs in nursing, teaching, business, and public service, directly contributing to the company’s mission of expanding educational equity and economic mobility.
- • You will partner with senior executives across Commercial, Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance to develop and execute data-informed short- and long-term strategies that optimize revenue, customer lifetime value, and market positioning, ensuring alignment with Risepoint’s strategic plan while identifying new growth levers in evolving higher education markets.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing differentiated market intelligence by analyzing competitive OPM landscapes, pricing models, go-to-market tactics, and university/student funding dynamics to refine Risepoint’s business development targeting and uncover white-space opportunities.
- • You will design and implement go-to-market playbooks to accelerate growth in core US markets, including expansion into new states, community colleges, and high-potential program areas such as stackable credentials, ensuring scalable and repeatable approaches to customer acquisition and retention.
- • You will lead the innovation of commercial models by designing and testing alternative deal structures—including build-operate-transfer agreements, joint ventures, and consortia—to expand Risepoint’s addressable market and deepen partnerships with institutional clients beyond traditional service agreements.
- • You will provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture grounded in accountability, intellectual curiosity, and results-driven execution across all levels of the organization.
- • You will synthesize complex market, financial, and operational insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership, enabling informed decision-making on resource allocation, pricing strategy, and market entry initiatives.
- • You will build and refine processes, tools, and frameworks that enhance commercial effectiveness, ensuring consistency and scalability in deal structuring, negotiation, and customer engagement across the organization.
- • You will act as a trusted thought partner to the SVP of Commercial and other executives, influencing strategic direction through rigorous analysis, clear communication, and executive presence in both internal and external forums.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in the higher education and OPM sectors, sharpen your strategic and commercial acumen, and build a track record of driving measurable impact through innovative business models and cross-functional leadership—positioning you for continued growth in senior strategy, commercial, or general management roles.
🎯 Requirements
