  • • As Director of Commercial Strategy & Analytics at Optro, you will serve as a key architect of the company’s growth engine, bridging high-level strategy with operational execution to drive smart, data-informed growth in a fast-growing SaaS leader serving over 50% of the Fortune 500.
  • • You will lead the go-to-market planning process, establish sales segmentation, and build a robust KPI/scorecard framework to ensure Optro invests in the right initiatives at the right time, directly impacting revenue predictability and scalability.
  • • Day to day, you will oversee strategy and analytics to deliver actionable insights on pipeline health, conversion rates, and rep productivity, turning data into a competitive advantage through "Moneyball"-style analysis.
  • • You will design and maintain dynamic propensity-to-buy models, Total Addressable Market (TAM) frameworks, and account scoring systems to help sales teams prioritize high-value prospects and optimize resource allocation.
  • • Acting as connective tissue between Commercial, Operations, Product, and Finance, you will ensure growth initiatives are operationally sound, financially viable, and aligned across functions.
  • • You will analyze SaaS monetization models to measure bookings, revenue, and capacity, enabling data-driven decisions around pricing, packaging, and go-to-market motion.
  • • Over time, you will lead and evolve the strategy and analytics team as Optro scales, mentoring analysts and building a high-performing, data-centric function.
  • • You will collaborate closely with sales leadership, account executives, and GTM teams to translate insights into action, using empathy and influence to drive adoption of data-driven practices.
  • • You will apply deep business acumen in SaaS financial metrics—including CAC, LTV, and the Magic Number—to inform territory design, quota setting, sales process optimization, and forecasting accuracy.
  • • Leveraging expert-level skills in Excel/GSheets, Tableau, and advanced SQL (with Python/R preferred), you will structure and execute complex analyses from large datasets to answer strategic questions.

  • • You will develop expertise in strategic GTM planning, advanced analytics modeling, and cross-functional leadership in a high-impact, visibility-rich role that reports to senior leadership and influences company-wide priorities.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of progressive leadership in GTM, Revenue/Sales Operations, Commercial Strategy, or management consulting within high-growth tech or SaaS companies.
  • • Expert-level proficiency in Excel/GSheets and Tableau for building models, alongside advanced SQL capabilities (Python/R preferred) to structure and execute analysis from complex datasets.
  • • Deep understanding of SaaS financial drivers including CAC, LTV, and the Magic Number, with experience in sales planning (territories and quota setting), sales processes, funnel management, and forecasting.
