📋 Description

• • Own the global Digital Consulting P&L and strategy for FoodChain ID’s Digital Solutions division, guiding a distributed team across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC to deliver best-in-class SaaS implementations for 30,000+ clients in 100+ countries.
• • Translate the company’s mission—making the global food supply safer, cleaner, and more transparent—into measurable consulting outcomes: on-time, on-budget deployments of PLM, ERP, Recipe & Specification systems that accelerate product launches and regulatory compliance.
• • Build and continuously refine a unified consulting methodology that harmonizes delivery playbooks, risk frameworks, change-management toolkits, and quality gates across all regions, ensuring every client experiences the same gold-standard engagement regardless of location.
• • Drive annual revenue and margin targets by orchestrating capacity planning, utilization tracking, and dynamic staffing models that balance global demand with regional expertise; report weekly KPIs to the VP of Services and adjust tactics in real time.
• • Act as the executive escalation point for complex, multi-site implementations, partnering with C-suite stakeholders at global CPG, F&B, and ingredient manufacturers to resolve scope, timeline, or integration challenges before they threaten project success.
• • Champion a culture of relentless professional development: create individualized growth plans for regional Digital Consulting Managers, institute quarterly certification sprints, and mentor high-potential staff into future leadership roles.
• • Lead cross-functional initiatives with Product, R&D, and Quality teams to co-design new service offerings that leverage emerging SaaS capabilities—turning FoodChain ID’s domain expertise in clean-label verification, sustainability certification, and export compliance into repeatable consulting products.
• • Establish and govern a global risk and change-management practice that anticipates regulatory shifts (e.g., FSMA, EU Green Deal, ProTerra updates) and embeds compliance checkpoints into every project phase, reducing downstream rework and client churn.
• • Spearhead strategic account planning sessions with Sales and Customer Success to identify whitespace opportunities, craft multi-year roadmaps, and secure expansion contracts that grow average deal size by 25 % YoY.
• • Institutionalize data-driven decision making: implement dashboards that surface real-time insights on project health, resource burn, customer NPS, and margin variance—enabling proactive course corrections and continuous improvement.
• • Foster an inclusive, high-performance culture across time zones by hosting monthly “lunch-and-learn” broadcasts, quarterly virtual summits, and an annual in-person leadership offsite that celebrates wins and crystallizes next-year priorities.
• • Represent FoodChain ID at industry conferences, webinars, and standards bodies, evangelizing digital transformation in food safety and sustainability while gathering market intelligence that feeds back into service innovation.
• • Ensure Berkshire Partners’ investment thesis is realized by scaling the Digital Consulting organization efficiently—balancing aggressive growth with disciplined cost control to deliver EBITDA targets and strategic exit readiness.
