- • The Director, Customer Engagement will lead a team of Engagement Principals and Associates to help customers realize the value of Aera Decision Cloud™ by building and deploying Aera Skills that automate and augment business decisions.
- • Day to day responsibilities include hiring, mentoring, and leading the customer engagement team; guiding customers through solutioning processes; conducting discovery workshops to shape Decision Intelligence roadmaps; managing end-to-end project implementations; ensuring quality of deliverables; and serving as the point of escalation for customer issues and concerns.
- • Aera Technology is a privately-held, VC-funded pioneer in Decision Intelligence Platforms, recognized as a Leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for 2026, with a global team of over 400 employees (Aeranauts) dedicated to helping enterprises automate and scale decision-making with AI and machine learning.
- • In this role, the Director will develop leadership expertise in scaling customer-facing teams, deepen knowledge of AI-driven decision automation platforms, drive measurable business outcomes for global enterprise clients, and shape the strategic direction of customer success initiatives within a high-growth technology company.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience leading and scaling customer-facing teams, including hiring, mentoring, and managing Engagement Principals or similar roles
- • Deep expertise in guiding enterprise customers through solutioning processes, conducting discovery workshops, and managing end-to-end implementation projects
- • Strong background in driving customer success and ensuring quality of deliverables for AI, analytics, or enterprise software platforms
- • Ability to act as a point of escalation for complex customer issues and concerns
- • Based in or able to frequently work from the San Francisco Bay Area (SF or Mountain View offices)
