- • As Director of Data Center Operations at FluidStack Inc., you will lead the global data center operations function, overseeing critical infrastructure, IT equipment, and assets across worldwide facilities to ensure the highest standards of performance, reliability, and security in support of cutting-edge AI infrastructure for partners like Meta, Mistral, and Black Forest Labs.
- • You will drive strategic planning and prioritization for data center operations teams, establish KPIs and SLAs focused on operational efficiency, utilization, availability, and budget, and coordinate with design, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure engineering consistency and quality across all data center projects globally.
- • You will build and lead a high-performing leadership team capable of executing strategic direction through actionable deliverables, foster a people-first culture, and establish business continuity plans including disaster drills, incident management, and root cause analysis to minimize customer downtime and ensure resilience.
- • You will uphold and exceed industry standards by enforcing change control policies, overseeing critical incidents and changes in the data hall, ensuring compliance with security policies, and driving continuous process improvement to maximize scalability and standardization across FluidStack’s expanding global footprint.
- • You will connect operational excellence to financial outcomes through strong financial acumen, optimize data center utilization during periods of rapid growth, and provide thought leadership that influences cross-functional teams while balancing short-term execution with long-term strategic goals in a high-velocity, mission-driven environment focused on accelerating AGI.

🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience in data center operations management with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles, including proven success managing large-scale data center facilities and leading teams through rapid growth.
- • Demonstrated ability to develop high-performing teams and cultivate a people-first culture, with strong skills in goal setting, accountability, and driving execution to achieve measurable results.
- • Strategic thinker with excellent communication and influence abilities, capable of providing thought leadership, aligning operational objectives with financial outcomes, and balancing short-term pressures with long-term vision.
- • Experience with GPU clusters and high-performance computing environments, or background in hyperscale/cloud service provider settings managing facilities exceeding 100MW.
- • Financial acumen to connect operational initiatives to cost efficiency and budget performance, including experience establishing and tracking KPIs, SLAs, and utilization metrics.
