You serve as the primary executor of Employee Relations work, advising on complex and sensitive workplace situations, partnering with Talent and Legal to investigate concerns, advise on performance and conduct issues, and ensure fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes. You strengthen organizational health through effective issue resolution and clear communication, while building a healthy culture by recognizing patterns to disrupt and elevating the ER function beyond case resolution.

You will also support infrastructure, talent systems, and continuous improvement (20%) by designing standardized frameworks, analyzing case data and trends to surface patterns, building manager pre-escalation coaching practices, providing input into talent systems like Workday, leading special projects to streamline ER case management, and staying current on employment law and best practices. Additionally, you will enable manager capability and team culture (20%) by partnering with Talent Business Partners to build manager capability, providing hands-on coaching, contributing ER expertise to toolkits and training, reinforcing a culture of early issue resolution, and supplying subject matter expertise for manager development resources.
  • • You will join the Global Strategy & Talent team at College Board, a mission-driven nonprofit committed to expanding educational and career opportunities. The team values data-informed decisions, learning agility, collaboration, empathy, and clear communication. • • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise-level employee relations, influence organizational culture and policy at scale, develop leadership in HR systems and process improvement, and gain experience advising senior leaders on complex workforce issues. You will strengthen your ability to translate legal and regulatory insights into practical HR guidance, build manager capability through coaching and tool development, and contribute to a culture of fairness, accountability, and continuous improvement—advancing your impact as a strategic HR leader in a mission-focused organization.
