  • • Lead finance function diagnostics by assessing clients’ people, processes, and technology to develop value-creation roadmaps for private equity-backed portfolio companies.
  • • Design and execute process enhancements across key finance domains: lead-to-cash, source-to-pay, record-to-report, and FP&A.
  • • Design future-state operating platforms including organization structure, finance processes, and technology stack to align with strategic objectives.
  • • Develop detailed implementation plans for transformation initiatives, supported by quantified financial benefits and qualitative justifications.
  • • Manage execution of technology optimization and process automation initiatives using ERPs, bespoke systems, and AI-enabled tools.
  • • Establish and lead transformation program governance structures to coordinate multi-workstream engagements effectively.
  • • Drive cross-functional change management initiatives to ensure adoption of new processes and technologies across client organizations.
  • • Determine and measure ROI of finance transformation initiatives, implementing risk mitigation strategies to secure targeted benefit realization.
  • • Apply deep financial expertise and industry best practices to advise clients on professionalizing their finance functions.
  • • Manage end-to-end multi-workstream transformation programs at single clients or oversee multiple smaller projects across different clients under senior leadership guidance.
  • • Supervise and mentor junior team members including Vice Presidents, Associates, and Analysts.
  • • Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives at portfolio companies and private equity sponsor representatives.
  • • Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities, coordinating cross-practice proposals, and supporting client acquisition efforts.
  • • Lead internal firm initiatives to enhance service delivery capabilities and improve operational efficiency.
  • • Travel to client sites as required to support on-site execution and stakeholder engagement.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience in client-serving roles at a top-tier public accounting or financial advisory firm, or senior-level experience combining client service and private industry
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred
  • • Proven experience managing large, multi-workstream engagements with complex client and internal team dynamics
  • • Deep expertise in finance process transformation across lead-to-cash, source-to-pay, record-to-report, and FP&A
  • • Strong knowledge of finance function best practices and professionalization frameworks
  • • Extensive experience designing and implementing technology and automation strategies to improve finance effectiveness and reduce costs
  • • Experience enabling financial processes through finance automation and technology deployment
  • • Experience working in a private equity consulting environment with understanding of PE portfolio company dynamics
  • • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • • Strong client service orientation
