📋 Description

  • Represent Flagright at industry events, panels, webinars, roundtables, and community forums focused on financial crime compliance, AML, fraud, sanctions, and regulatory developments.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior practitioners including compliance leaders, regulators, investigators, fintech operators, and banking stakeholders across the U.S. and globally.
  • Shape and execute Flagright’s industry engagement strategy in the U.S., aligning with regional Event Leads and Field Marketing Managers to define event themes, speaker selection, audience targeting, and discussion formats.
  • Serve as a credible moderator, panelist, or host at high-profile industry events, executive roundtables, invite-only dinners, fireside chats, and practitioner briefings, delivering expert perspective on financial crime trends.
  • Identify emerging financial crime themes, regulatory shifts, operational pain points, and practitioner concerns that inform Flagright’s market positioning and product strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Research & Insights to provide expert input, verified quotes, and real-world context for thought leadership reports, whitepapers, and industry publications.
  • Help Flagright establish and grow partnerships with relevant associations, NGOs, former regulators, law enforcement professionals, fintech compliance leaders, and banking industry networks.
  • Translate insights from industry conversations into strategic recommendations for Sales, Product, and Marketing teams regarding buyer concerns, market credibility gaps, and competitive dynamics.
  • Act as a trusted external voice for Flagright, enhancing the company’s credibility, visibility, and influence across the global financial crime compliance ecosystem.
  • Drive initiatives independently to develop new engagement opportunities, including executive-level forums and practitioner-focused discussions, with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a strong professional presence in key financial crime and compliance communities, leveraging personal credibility and deep domain expertise to expand Flagright’s reach.
  • Travel up to 30% of the time to attend industry events, client meetings, and strategic engagements across the U.S. and internationally.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, and Marketing to ensure external messaging aligns with internal product capabilities and customer feedback.
  • Operate in a high-autonomy, low-bureaucracy environment with direct access to leadership and influence over company direction and publications.
  • Contribute to a culture of execution, continuous learning, and intellectual rigor, working alongside top-tier professionals from Y Combinator, AWS, and Palantir.
  • Engage with stakeholders at the highest levels — regulators, former FIU leads, senior compliance officers, and fintech founders — with professionalism, judgment, and authenticity.
  • Adapt quickly to evolving financial crime trends, regulatory landscapes, and market demands, maintaining Flagright’s relevance and thought leadership in a fast-moving industry.
  • Advocate for Flagright’s AI operating system as a critical tool for compliance teams facing complex financial crime challenges in real time.
  • Reject routine and ambiguity aversion; thrive in environments with fast-changing priorities and high expectations.

🎯 Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of AML, financial crime, fraud, sanctions, compliance, regulatory developments, and financial services risk landscapes
  • Experience engaging with financial crime practitioners, compliance leaders, regulators, investigators, fintech operators, or banking stakeholders
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills with ability to confidently engage senior audiences
  • Strong public speaking ability and comfort representing a company externally at conferences, panels, roundtables, and executive dinners
  • Based in New York with right to work in the USA (no visa sponsorship available)
  • Willing and able to travel up to 30% of the time

  • Equity from day 1 at a Y Combinator startup
  • Employee health insurance
