- • As Director of FP&A OTR at WEX Inc., you will lead the financial planning and analysis function for the Over-the-Road and Factoring Businesses, serving as a strategic partner to senior executives and driving enterprise-wide finance transformation.
- • You will own full P&L accountability, lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes, and provide financial insights that influence long-term and short-term business goals across the organization.
- • You will lead and develop a team of managers and analysts, ensuring cultural alignment, succession planning, and performance excellence while fostering collaboration with finance and business leaders.
- • You will drive data-informed decision-making by developing financial metrics, analyzing macroeconomic factors, and creating frameworks to measure investment returns and business performance.
- • You will partner with HR on strategic workforce planning, lead process improvement and automation initiatives, and ensure timely, accurate financial close and reporting in compliance with public company standards.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA, CPA, or other advanced certifications strongly preferred.
- • 8-10 years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or strategic finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- • Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams, including managers, with proven coaching and team-building abilities.
- • Strong analytical and business acumen, with ability to connect financial insights to strategy and influence executive decision-making.
- • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders.
- • Advanced Excel skills required; proficiency in financial systems (Hyperion, Anaplan, Oracle, Alteryx) and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) preferred.
