- • This role will play a critical leadership role in collaborating with cross functions, driving cost optimization and innovation initiatives, generating data‑driven insights through advanced analytics and benchmarking, and shaping strategic budget proposals for internal pipeline and external partnership.
- • Partnering closely with cross‑functional leaders, this role will translate data into actionable insights, prioritize high‑impact opportunities, and establish continuous optimization cycles that enhance capacity, productivity, and BeOne’s competitive positioning within the industry.
- • This role also develops and oversees budget proposals for both BeOne internal pipeline and external partnership to ensure budgets are transparent, efficient, and flexible by incorporating optional scenarios and cost‑efficient alternatives aligned with business objectives.
- • The successful candidate will bring sound operational knowledge of biopharmaceutical industry or the CROs. This role brings strong analytical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence at senior levels, and leading high impact initiatives at R&D level.
- • Drive cross functional collaborations on cost optimization and innovation initiatives by partnering with cross‑functional teams to generate optimization ideas, develop business cases, and deliver consolidated reporting on value impact.
- • Provide data‑driven insights through advanced analytics and benchmarking by conducting deep market research for comparing historical BeOne performance, current business practices, and external industry benchmarks.
- • Develop and oversee budget proposals for both BeOne internal pipeline and external partnership by collaboratively working with cross functional teams to develop external vendor costs, investigator fees, and internal resource costs.
- • Identify and model ongoing cost and efficiency opportunities across internal and external study cost elements, define key cost drivers, assess their impact on overall budgets, and conduct scenario simulations to inform trade‑off decisions and proactive financial planning.
- • Supervisory responsibilities may be present in the future.
- • Proficiency with Excel, financial modelling tools, and ideally AI coding is required.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s with 10+ years experience or Master’s degree with 7+ years in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Science, Business, Finance, or related field
- • 10+ years of experience in clinical trial management, project and portfolio management, business analytics, ideally external collaboration, financial planning, or operational leadership
- • Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority
- • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with experience translating complex data into executive‑level insights
- • Proven experience developing business cases, budgets, and scenario analyses to support strategic decisions
- • Strong understanding of clinical trial delivery across Phases I–III and associated cost drivers
