- • As a Director in Healthcare Enterprise Strategy at Guidehouse, you will serve as a strategic leader and master practitioner driving high-impact consulting engagements for healthcare payer and provider clients, shaping organizational transformation and advancing the firm’s strategic vision through innovative, data-driven solutions.
- • You will lead multiple concurrent client engagements, overseeing end-to-end project delivery including business model transformation, operating model design, M&A support, and service line innovation, while applying and teaching advanced strategic frameworks such as SWOT, Porter’s Five Forces, PEST, 3Cs, and wind tunneling to drive measurable value.
- • You will act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, anticipating needs, identifying opportunities, and representing Guidehouse at industry events to enhance thought leadership and brand visibility in the healthcare sector.
- • Using an apprenticeship model, you will coach and develop Managers and junior consultants through deliberate practice, feedback, and structured skill-building in areas including hypothesis-driven analysis, pyramid principle communication, decision-tree logic, analytical modeling, stakeholder management, and project prioritization.
- • You will drive business development by leading proposal efforts, identifying new opportunities, contributing to practice growth through thought leadership, and collaborating with leaders to shape the strategic direction of the Healthcare Strategy practice.
- • You will manage financial and operational aspects of projects, overseeing budgets, resource allocation, risk monitoring, and performance reporting to ensure profitability, on-time delivery, and alignment with client and organizational goals.
- • You will foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within your team, providing regular feedback, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting career development to cultivate the next generation of consulting leaders.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree
- • 10+ years of strategy consulting experience in top-tier or boutique firms with a focus on healthcare payer/provider industry
- • Demonstrated success managing multiple complex projects and leading cross-functional teams
- • Advanced strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities
- • Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx) and financial modeling
- • Willingness to travel up to 75%+ as required
