  • • As Director, Media Strategy at Jellyfish, you will serve as the primary strategic planning partner for one of the agency’s largest global clients, driving day-to-day media strategy and campaign planning that translates data and insights into actionable, culturally relevant creative solutions. This role is critical to ensuring that every campaign, launch, and quarterly plan is grounded in insight, structured thinking, and historical performance—directly impacting client success and brand relevance in a competitive marketplace.
  • • You will lead the end-to-end response to client campaign briefs, audience strategies, and channel frameworks for ongoing campaigns and seasonal initiatives, partnering closely with the client’s media team as their go-to strategic lead. Your responsibilities include synthesizing historical performance data, MMM learnings, creative results, and platform insights to refine strategies, collaborating with Investment teams to align media plans with strategic intent, and monitoring campaign performance to deliver ongoing optimization recommendations and mid-flight revisions.
  • • You will support the VP, Strategy in integrated agency (IAT) planning for hero launches and tentpole events, leading media channel planning and ensuring alignment across creative, PR, influencer, analytics, and commerce partners to deliver cohesive, cross-functional campaigns that ladder up to broader communications ideas.
  • • You will contribute to continuous improvement by participating in weekly reporting insights, identifying performance patterns, developing actionable insights for future planning cycles, and supporting post-campaign reviews and quarterly performance readouts. You’ll stay ahead of category trends, competitive activity, audience shifts, and platform updates, translating them into strategic POVs that keep the client at the forefront of innovation.
  • • You will leverage Brandtech Group’s GenAI tools—including PencilPro, the world’s No. 1 generative AI platform—to enhance audience insights, streamline workflow efficiency, and elevate strategic inputs. You’ll ensure planning tools and frameworks are consistently applied, contribute to best practices and documentation, and mentor junior strategists in planning discipline, data-led thinking, and structured communication.
  • • You will collaborate closely with Investment, Analytics, Project Management, and Client Leadership teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery, while modeling accountability, clarity, and preparedness in all internal and client interactions. 🎯 Requirements

  • • 5-8+ years of experience in media strategy, communications planning, or integrated strategy, with agency experience preferred.
  • • Strong planning expertise including deep familiarity with audience strategy, channel roles, budget allocation, and full-funnel planning.
  • • Ability to synthesize data from performance metrics, MMM insights, and research into structured, actionable strategic recommendations.
  • • Strong communication and writing skills, particularly in crafting briefs and structured planning documents.
  • • Experience managing day-to-day media client relationships and owning planning cycles independently.
  • • Comfort with planning tools, research platforms, and GenAI technologies to enhance insight generation and workflow efficiency.
  • • Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple planning cycles simultaneously.
