📋 Description
- • Lead the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of strategic M&A transactions to drive company growth as Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at M-Files Corporation.
- • Own end-to-end deal lifecycle including pipeline development, financial modeling, due diligence, negotiations, and post-close integration while reporting directly to the CFO/COO.
- • Partner with executive leadership and private equity sponsors to shape growth strategy through data-driven transaction insights and market intelligence.
- • Build scalable M&A processes, mentor cross-functional partners, and ensure successful integration that maximizes long-term value creation across global operations.
- • Contribute to a mission-driven organization redefining work through context-first document management, serving over 6,000 customers in 100+ countries with AI-powered automation and governance.
- • Operate within a culture guided by ‘Make It Happen,’ ‘Help Others,’ and ‘Love Customers,’ fostering transparency, accountability, and customer-centric innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8–12+ years of relevant transaction experience in investment banking (M&A or sell-side advisory), private equity, venture capital, or corporate development
- • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field
- • SaaS or technology industry experience
- • Proven track record of leading transactions end-to-end, from sourcing through close
- • Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring expertise
- • Strong executive presence with ability to present complex analyses to senior leadership and Boards
- • Exceptional project management skills to lead multiple complex workstreams simultaneously
- • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline (preferred)
- • Experience leading post-merger integration efforts (preferred)
- • Prior experience working directly with private equity sponsors (preferred)
