📋 Description

• We're looking for a hands-on Director of Accounting who is energized by building, not maintaining. You own things end-to-end: the full accounting cycle, internal controls, GAAP compliance, audit readiness, and the build-out of a small high-performing accounting team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance leader who thrives in dynamic environments and can balance strategic oversight with day-to-day execution.
• Key responsibilities include: Accounting Operations, Revenue Recognition, Collections & AR, Internal Controls & Policy, Tax & Equity, Systems & Automation, and Cross-functional Partnership.
• You might be a good fit if you have accounting expertise, technical knowledge, a builder mentality, audit readiness, systems fluency, AI fluency, and strong communication skills.
• Bonus points for background in B2B SaaS, Cybersecurity or Compliance, and experience scaling accounting teams from Series A and beyond.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including time as Controller or Assistant Controller at a venture-backed SaaS company.
• CPA and Big 4 or regional public accounting background strongly preferred.
• Deep command of US GAAP including ASC 606 in a recurring-revenue environment: multi-element arrangements, non-standard deals, and deferred revenue management.
• Working knowledge of ASC 718 and equity accounting.
