  • • Forbes Advisor is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to spearhead growth within our burgeoning Legal vertical.   • • Reporting directly to the General Manager of the Legal vertical, you will be instrumental in identifying, executing, and optimizing strategic growth opportunities. Your primary focus will be on driving revenue and expanding our market presence within the legal sector.
  • • A core responsibility will be to actively support the GM in achieving ambitious revenue and growth targets. This involves not just meeting but exceeding established goals through strategic planning and proactive execution.
  • • You will be tasked with identifying and rigorously evaluating untapped market opportunities. This includes exploring new niches, potential strategic partnerships that align with our business objectives, and identifying areas ripe for business expansion and diversification within the legal landscape.
  • • Cultivating and managing robust client relationships is paramount. You will go beyond initial contract execution, ensuring seamless alignment with client expectations, monitoring performance closely, and fostering ongoing success and satisfaction to build long-term partnerships.
  • • A key element of this role involves establishing sophisticated pricing frameworks. You will develop and refine pricing strategies that are both competitive and profitable, and craft compelling, data-driven proposals that clearly articulate value and drive both revenue growth and client success.
  • • You will oversee the critical process of contract activation, ensuring that all client commitments are meticulously documented, accurately reflected, and fully compliant with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • • Supporting ongoing revenue reporting is essential. You will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and clear alignment of all revenue data with overarching business objectives, providing the GM and other stakeholders with reliable insights.
  • • A data-centric approach is vital. You will leverage performance data and in-depth market insights to continuously optimize existing strategies and inform the direction of future growth initiatives, ensuring agility and responsiveness to market dynamics.
  • • Project management will be a significant aspect of your role. You will coordinate and manage all necessary elements for campaign execution, working closely with internal teams to ensure timely and successful implementation of business development initiatives.
  • • Collaboration is key to success. You will work closely with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders, including marketing, sales, legal, and operations teams, to ensure strategies are aligned and business objectives are met cohesively.
  • • You will partner with internal finance and operations teams to facilitate and support the billing reconciliation process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations related to client accounts.
  • • A crucial part of your role will be to actively support the Sales team in their efforts to upsell existing clients and secure renewals, leveraging your understanding of client needs and market opportunities to drive sustained revenue.
