- • As Director of Business Development at Definian, you will own and grow the Oracle practice revenue by driving new logo acquisition and expanding existing accounts across the Oracle ecosystem, positioning Definian as the trusted data partner throughout clients’ digital transformation journeys.
- • You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery to proposal, negotiation, and close—while maintaining accurate pipeline data in Salesforce, delivering disciplined forecasts, and collaborating with delivery teams to craft winning solutions for enterprise clients.
- • You will serve as Definian’s visible representative in the Oracle ecosystem, building credibility with Oracle account teams, Oracle Consulting Services, and global systems integrators to ensure Definian is considered for all Oracle-adjacent data engagements.
- • You will work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer and delivery leadership to exceed revenue targets across migration, modernization, analytics, governance, and AI offerings, while developing strategic relationships that unlock long-term value beyond initial implementations.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of B2B sales experience in technology consulting or services with a proven track record of exceeding revenue goals in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- • Deep familiarity with the Oracle ecosystem, including Oracle ERP, Oracle Cloud, Oracle Consulting Services, and the global systems integrator (GSI) and partner landscape.
- • Existing relationships within Oracle—from software sales, OCS, or SI backgrounds—that can be leveraged to accelerate pipeline and brand presence.
- • Experience selling data services, systems implementation, or transformation consulting to enterprise clients, preferably in healthcare, financial services, retail, or manufacturing.
- • Proven ability to execute both hunter and farmer motions: acquiring new logos while expanding and protecting existing accounts.
- • Highly process-oriented with discipline in managing structured sales cycles, maintaining pipeline hygiene, and producing accurate, stage-based forecasts.
- • Demonstrated skill in navigating extended sales cycles, influencing C-level buyers, and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
- • Strong business acumen to connect client data challenges to Definian’s full suite of offerings, not just point solutions.
- • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
- • Self-directed, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to leverage internal resources and thrive in a high-trust, collaborative culture.
- • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
