  • • Simply Protein for Pets (SPFP) is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of E-Commerce to spearhead the growth and optimization of our digital retail and marketplace businesses. This pivotal role, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, will be instrumental in driving revenue, enhancing brand visibility, and ensuring profitable expansion across our key e-commerce channels, with a significant focus on Amazon, Chewy, Walmart.com, and the rapidly evolving TikTok Shop.
  • • As the owner of our digital shelf performance, retail media execution, and marketplace operations, you will be the driving force behind ensuring our brands not only appear competitively but also convert efficiently and scale profitably within each platform's unique ecosystem. This is a hands-on role where you will operate as a player-coach, actively managing platforms and analyzing performance while simultaneously coordinating with agencies, creative partners, and internal stakeholders to achieve ambitious goals.
  • • This position sits at the critical intersection of marketing, sales, and operations. Your primary responsibility will be to translate overarching brand strategy into precise, channel-specific execution plans that directly contribute to increased product velocity, operational efficiency, and sustainable, profitable growth.
  • • You will be responsible for the day-to-day performance management of our presence on Amazon, Chewy, Walmart.com, and other emerging marketplaces and direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels. This includes meticulously managing digital shelf fundamentals such as assortment strategy, competitive pricing, product availability, content quality, and ensuring strict compliance with all platform requirements.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves close collaboration with our Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure seamless alignment of inventory levels, accurate sales forecasts, and effective promotional planning. You will be the guardian of accurate execution for retailer-specific requirements, content standards, and operational workflows, ensuring SPFP consistently meets and exceeds partner expectations.
  • • You will develop, execute, and continuously optimize our retail media strategies across major platforms including Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Chewy Ads, and others. Depending on the channel's scale and complexity, you will either manage agency partners effectively or execute campaigns hands-on, always with a focus on maximizing return on ad spend (ROAS) and total advertising cost of sale (TACOS).
  • • Performance will be measured against key performance indicators (KPIs) including ROAS, TACOS, conversion rate (CVR), overall revenue growth, and contribution margin. You will be tasked with driving significant marketplace growth through strategic listing optimization, compelling A+ content development, enhanced product detail page (PDP) improvements, and robust search engine optimization (SEO) tactics tailored for each platform.
  • • Partnering closely with our Creative and Brand teams, you will be responsible for briefing and deploying high-performing marketplace creative assets that resonate with target audiences and drive engagement. You will also play a crucial role in supporting new SKU launches by developing and executing platform-specific go-to-market plans that ensure maximum impact from day one.
  • • Continuous monitoring of competitive dynamics, pricing pressures, and emerging category trends across all platforms is essential. Your insights will inform strategic adjustments and proactive measures to maintain our competitive edge.
  • • You will champion innovation in data analytics, e-commerce technology, and paid media strategies. This includes rigorously testing new channels, ad formats, and platforms, always maintaining a disciplined approach to measurement and ROI assessment.
  • • Cultivating a deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and the competitive landscape is paramount. This knowledge will fuel strategic decision-making, inform brand positioning, and drive overall growth within the e-commerce space.
