- • As Director of Engineering for Developer Integrations at Auth0 (Okta), you will lead the India-based engineering team responsible for building a seamless, secure, and innovative developer experience for CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) products, directly impacting how over 100 million daily logins interact with applications worldwide.
- • Day to day, you will direct engineering managers and senior engineers, partner with product and VP of Engineering to define and execute roadmaps, drive AI-native SDLC initiatives using LLMs and agentic models, align cross-functional teams (security, design, program management), mentor and coach talent, lead recruitment efforts, and ensure high standards in quality, speed, and innovation.
- • You will join Auth0, a developer-first identity platform within Okta, The World’s Identity Company, which enables secure, flexible access across devices and apps, empowering organizations to innovate safely while putting identity at the core of business security and growth.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in engineering leadership at scale, gain hands-on experience integrating AI into software development lifecycles, shape the future of developer tools and SDKs for global identity platforms, and build a high-performing, inclusive team that drives innovation in CIAM developer experience.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven success as a Director or Senior Engineering Manager with experience building inclusive, collaborative, high-performing teams and managing virtual, geographically distributed teams.
- • Strong background in software engineering with deep understanding of full-stack development, heavy focus on client side, and experience designing, deploying, and managing large-scale systems.
- • Experience with or strong interest in applying AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to improve engineering efficiency and developer experience.
- • Skilled in Agile methodologies, continuous integration, test automation, and building infrastructure for monitoring and alerting.
- • Demonstrated ability to set high standards, lead teams to achieve goals, excellent communication skills, comfort in globally distributed work culture, and capability to work with high autonomy and responsibility while navigating ambiguities.
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with over 5 years in technical leadership and 10 years in software development, including front-end, back-end, and large-scale SaaS software.
