📋 Description

• • Lead the strategic design, documentation, and implementation of technology solutions across multiple development teams within an agile framework, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical vision.
• • Own and evolve the enterprise architecture roadmap for critical Payment and Tax product lines, encompassing cloud-native, hybrid, and on-premise infrastructure components, to support scalability, security, and innovation.
• • Architect systems with an AI-consumable design philosophy, meticulously structuring APIs, data contracts, and schemas to serve as effective context for advanced Large Language Model (LLM)-driven processes and agentic workflows, thereby future-proofing our technology stack.
• • Drive the design, rigorous testing, and continuous improvement of Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) strategies for all critical payment infrastructure, ensuring resilience and minimal downtime.
• • Design, oversee, and optimize complex data movement, Extract, Transform, Load (ETL)/Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) pipelines, and data conversion strategies to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and efficient processing.
• • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve critical system, service-level, and architectural issues, maintaining high availability and performance standards for our core platforms.
• • Define, govern, and champion standards for AI-assisted development across all engineering teams, establishing best practices for coding assistant utilization, prompt engineering, and robust code review processes for AI-generated output.
• • Evaluate, recommend, and operationalize cutting-edge AI developer tooling, including advanced coding assistants (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Copilot), sophisticated agent frameworks, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations, to enhance developer productivity and innovation.
• • Architect innovative AI-augmented data access, reporting, and analytics patterns that significantly enhance or strategically replace traditional Business Intelligence (BI) and ETL workflows, unlocking new insights and efficiencies.
• • Design and oversee the implementation of agentic or automated workflows within payment and tax processing pipelines, leveraging AI to streamline operations and improve accuracy.
• • Collaborate closely with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to define key AI adoption metrics, rigorously measure productivity impact, and strategically guide the competitive positioning of the development team's AI capabilities.
• • Provide expert architecture and domain guidance to development teams during the crucial phases of user story breakdown and sprint planning, ensuring technical feasibility and strategic alignment.
• • Actively coach, mentor, and train developers and architects on both technical best practices and process improvements, with a strong emphasis on modern AI-assisted development methodologies.
• • Skillfully translate complex business requirements from non-technical stakeholders into clear, concise, and high-level technical solution designs that are easily understood and actionable.
• • Foster strong collaborative relationships with data science, analytics, and IT infrastructure teams, ensuring seamless integration and alignment on cross-cutting technical initiatives and solution designs.
• • Effectively instruct and align developers, architects, and entire teams on critical architecture decisions, standards, and best practices, promoting a unified and high-performing engineering culture.
• • Ensure robust cloud, hybrid, and on-premise infrastructure design and governance, adhering to industry best practices and security standards.
• • Drive modern full-stack architecture initiatives, encompassing UI, application, data, and reporting layers, to create cohesive and efficient user experiences.
• • Champion AI-native development practices, including the strategic use of LLM tooling, agentic design principles, and prompt-driven system architecture, to foster innovation.
• • Oversee data engineering efforts, including ETL/ELT, data movement, conversion, and the implementation of AI-augmented data access patterns, to ensure data quality and accessibility.
• • Guide agile software development methodologies, facilitate effective story breakdown, and ensure seamless cross-team coordination for optimal project delivery.
• • Design and implement development environments, CI/CD pipelines, and testing infrastructure that promote efficiency, reliability, and rapid iteration.
• • Excel in stakeholder communication, adeptly translating complex business needs into actionable technical designs and clearly articulating technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• • Provide expert technical coaching, mentorship, and architecture governance to foster continuous learning and development within the engineering organization.
