📋 Description
- • As Director of FP&A at Paddle, you will lead the financial planning and analysis function to drive performance across revenue growth, cost discipline, and capital allocation decisions, serving as a key strategic partner to the VP of Finance and broader leadership team.
- • You will build and develop the FP&A team, partner with GTM, Product & Engineering, and functional leaders to create investment cases and surface unit economics insights, co-author board and executive materials, lead the end-to-end planning cycle in Pigment, own and advance the Pigment platform as a product lead, and drive Monthly Business Review and QBR cadences with standardized packs and clear action outcomes.
- • Paddle is a Merchant of Record for digital product companies, simplifying payment infrastructure by taking on 100% of payment fragmentation pain, backed by KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North, serving over 6,000 software sellers across 245 territories globally.
- • You will have the opportunity to transform FP&A into a business impact-driven function, lead a full annual planning cycle, optimize recurring work through systems thinking, and influence capital allocation decisions while developing expertise in modern planning platforms like Pigment and complex revenue cohort modeling.
🎯 Requirements
- • Significant FP&A leadership experience in a high-growth marketplace, SaaS, or technology business
- • Track record of building or transforming an FP&A function into a business impact-driven unit
- • Confident business partner able to operate across all levels, translating financial insight into decisions that move the business
- • Systems-oriented thinker focused on optimizing recurring work to enable more project-based, impact-driven work
- • History of effective use and progressive development of modern planning platforms (Pigment preferred), owning tooling as a product
- • Experience leading a full annual planning cycle end-to-end, including budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and board reporting
