Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As Director of Growth Marketing at Element451, you will lead the strategy, structure, and performance of demand generation for a modern SaaS platform serving higher education, directly impacting pipeline, revenue growth, and market presence by building scalable, data-driven programs that leverage AI, experimentation, and digital channels.
- • You will own the end-to-end growth marketing and demand generation strategy across digital channels, media, campaigns, and lifecycle marketing to drive qualified pipeline and revenue, while overhauling and scaling existing demand programs with modern frameworks, experimentation, and performance-driven practices.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and optimizing a ~$1.5M annual paid media budget in collaboration with external agency partners, developing and executing integrated campaigns across paid media, digital channels, and marketing automation platforms, and partnering with product and brand marketing to translate positioning into high-performing demand campaigns.
- • You will define and track pipeline targets and campaign performance goals using data to continuously optimize channel mix and ROI, lead campaign experimentation across digital channels, media buying, and emerging AI-driven marketing workflows, and work cross-functionally with sales and revenue teams to ensure strong marketing-to-sales alignment and pipeline quality.
- • Additionally, you will manage marketing technology and reporting workflows, including CRM and marketing automation platforms (with HubSpot experience preferred), and establish clear, scalable growth marketing strategies aligned to pipeline and revenue goals within the first 6–12 months.
- • The role offers the opportunity to improve campaign performance and channel efficiency, demonstrate measurable ROI on marketing spend, successfully manage and optimize a $1.5M paid media budget with clear reporting and forecasting, launch high-performing campaigns that increase qualified pipeline and lead quality, and implement improved reporting, dashboards, and attribution to help leadership understand marketing impact.
- • Element451 is a mission-driven company that helps colleges and universities modernize how they enroll, engage, and support students, applying the same mindset internally by using technology, automation, and AI to work smarter, move faster, and scale impact without unnecessary complexity.
- • You will join a team that values impact over immediacy, progress before perfection, learners before masters, collaboration over silos, and customer success over support—creating an environment where curiosity, humility, and teamwork fuel growth and meaningful outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6–8+ years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or performance marketing, ideally within a B2B SaaS company
- • Proven experience building or scaling demand generation functions, with strategic leadership beyond campaign execution
- • Deep expertise across digital channels, paid media, lifecycle marketing, and campaign optimization, including managing marketing budgets and performance targets
- • Strong experience working with media agency partners and managing ~$1.5M annual paid media budgets
- • Highly data-driven with ability to analyze campaign performance and continuously optimize marketing investment using automation, AI, and experimentation
- • Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms, with HubSpot strongly preferred
🏖️ Benefits
- • 20 PTO days + 10 company holidays
- • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
- • 401(k) with 4% employer match
- • Opportunity to work with modern tech and AI-driven tools in a fast-moving, mission-driven culture
- • High-impact work that improves access to higher education
