- • As a Director of Infrastructure Finance at Cohere, you will develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies for infrastructure investments, including planning, budgeting, and forecasting, playing a critical role in scaling AI infrastructure to serve humanity through frontier models.
- • Day to day, you will optimize infrastructure cost structures, develop and maintain financial metrics and KPIs, lead financial aspects of capacity planning and scaling initiatives, oversee financial reporting and variance analysis, manage financial risks, and foster collaboration with engineering, operations, and product teams.
- • Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more who are passionate about their craft and believe diverse perspectives are essential to building great products that power magical AI experiences like content generation, semantic search, RAG, and agents.
- • In this role, you will develop talent, provide career growth opportunities, make strategic recommendations on infrastructure investment priorities, and establish robust financial controls and governance frameworks, enabling you to influence senior technical leaders and shape the financial foundation of cutting-edge AI infrastructure.
🎯 Requirements
- • 12+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years specifically focused on infrastructure or cloud hardware finance
- • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or CFA highly preferred
- • Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling and ability to translate technical engineering roadmaps into financial outcomes
- • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure financing models and economics
- • Experience with financial systems and ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- • Strong project management and organizational skills
