📋 Description

• As the Director of Integrations and Deployment, Life Sciences at Hippocratic AI, you will be the pivotal technical leader responsible for transforming signed enterprise contracts into live, production-grade deployments within the most complex and security-conscious IT environments in pharma, biotech, and medtech. You will own the end-to-end integration strategy, technical architecture, and deployment methodology that enables Hippocratic AI’s agentic AI platform to seamlessly connect with critical healthcare systems — ensuring that innovation does not stall in technical review but scales reliably and safely across global life sciences organizations.
• You will define and lead the technical integration strategy for Hippocratic AI across the life sciences ecosystem, designing how the platform connects to Veeva CRM and Vault, Salesforce Health Cloud, IQVIA platforms, specialty pharmacy management systems, hub CRM platforms (AssistRx, ConnectiveRx, Lash Group, Phil), EHR systems (Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health), contact center and telephony platforms (Genesys, Five9, Amazon Connect, Twilio), safety databases (Argus, ArisG, Veeva Vault Safety), and enterprise data lakes and analytics environments. You will develop reference integration architectures, API-first patterns (RESTful, webhook, event-driven), data mapping and transformation standards, and validation protocols to ensure secure, compliant, and interoperable data exchange of patient data, adverse event data, case data, and interaction records.
• You will own the end-to-end process for navigating pharma IT security reviews, vendor qualification, and technical approval — building and maintaining comprehensive security and compliance documentation (SOC 2 Type II, penetration test results, architecture diagrams, data flow documentation, encryption standards, access control specs, incident response plans), leading responses to customer security questionnaires (SIG, HECVAT), and engaging directly with pharma CISOs, information security teams, enterprise architects, and IT governance committees to translate platform controls into the language and frameworks they evaluate against.
• You will define and operationalize a repeatable deployment methodology covering environment provisioning, integration configuration, data migration, UAT, go-live, and production monitoring — building deployment playbooks for each major use case, establishing timelines and resource models, overseeing early deployments hands-on, and defining production monitoring, incident management, and SLA frameworks to ensure system reliability and patient safety post-launch.
• You will serve as the company’s senior technical voice in customer-facing engagements — leading technical discovery sessions during sales cycles, presenting integration architecture and security posture to pharma CTOs, CIOs, and CISOs, supporting Sales during RFP/RFI processes, and building trusted relationships with customer IT leaders that extend beyond deployment to support expansion and renewal.
• You will partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and Sales to define integration platform capabilities, provide structured technical feedback from customer engagements, elevate pharma IT literacy across the organization through training materials, and define the handoff process from deployment to ongoing operations to ensure production integrations are properly documented and supported.
• You will report to the VP of Customer Success and work closely with the President of Life Sciences, Chief Commercial Officer, Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Medical Affairs, and Compliance leadership — operating in a high-growth, mission-driven environment where your technical leadership directly enables Hippocratic AI to become the easiest, fastest, and most trusted platform to deploy in life sciences.

🎯 Requirements

• 12–18 years of experience in technical integration, IT architecture, deployment operations, solution engineering, or technical consulting within pharma, life sciences, healthcare technology, or enterprise SaaS — with significant hands-on experience deploying or integrating technology within pharma IT environments.
• Deep, hands-on knowledge of pharma and life sciences IT ecosystems including CRM platforms (Veeva, Salesforce Health Cloud), specialty pharmacy and hub systems, EHR systems, contact center platforms, safety databases, and enterprise data infrastructure.
• Strong technical fluency across API design and integration patterns (REST, SOAP, webhooks, event-driven), data exchange standards (HL7, FHIR, NCPDP, EDI), authentication and identity protocols (SSO, SAML, OAuth, SCIM), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Direct experience navigating pharma IT security reviews, vendor qualification processes, and enterprise IT governance — including SOC 2, HIPAA technical safeguards, SIG questionnaires, and CISO-level security evaluations.
• Demonstrated ability to engage credibly with pharma CTOs, CISOs, enterprise architects, and IT governance teams — speaking their language and addressing their concerns with technical precision.
• Experience building deployment methodologies, integration playbooks, or technical operations functions from early stages — creating repeatable processes in environments where they didn't previously exist.
