- • As Director of Internal IT at Orcrist Technologies Inc., you will lead the internal IT function to ensure employees have reliable devices, seamless tool access, and secure-by-default systems, enabling peak performance across a fast-moving tech environment.
- • You will lead and scale the Internal IT team through hiring and coaching, own end-to-end onboarding and offboarding with automation, manage identity and access across corporate systems, define endpoint standards for macOS/Windows/Linux, oversee the full hardware lifecycle, administer internal SaaS tooling, build a high-quality IT service desk with SLAs and self-service capabilities, manage office IT fundamentals where applicable, partner with Security on incident readiness, and oversee vendor relationships and IT budgets.
- • Orcrist is building a next-generation data intelligence platform handling petabyte-scale data with sub-second queries, delivering B2B SaaS and self-hosted on-prem solutions—including air-gapped deployments—for defense, law enforcement, and enterprise customers to turn mission-critical data into actionable intelligence.
- • In this role, you will build a scalable internal IT operating model from the ground up, drive security and efficiency without hindering productivity, gain deep exposure to enterprise-scale identity and endpoint management, and establish yourself as a strategic partner enabling organizational scalability and resilience.
🎯 Requirements
- • Led Internal IT / IT Operations teams and owned outcomes in a modern, fast-moving tech environment
- • Strong hands-on experience with identity and access (SSO/IdP, MFA, RBAC/group design, least privilege)
- • Experience running endpoint management at scale (MDM/UEM, encryption, patching, EDR, OS baselines) across macOS and at least one of Windows/Linux
- • Understanding of IT service management and ability to build scalable processes (ticketing, SLAs/SLOs, documentation, automation)
- • Pragmatic and security-minded approach that improves posture without unnecessarily slowing teams down
- • Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders and ability to drive cross-team alignment
- • Authorization to work in Germany and ability to pass required screening, including export-control screening where applicable
