  • • As Director of IT Business Partnership at Enterprise Community Partners, Inc., you will serve as a senior strategic leader bridging technology and business to advance the mission of creating affordable housing and strengthening communities nationwide. This role is critical in ensuring IT investments directly support organizational goals, drive operational efficiency, and deliver measurable impact across all divisions.
  • • You will partner with C-suite executives and senior business leaders to shape IT strategy, translate business needs into technology solutions, and ensure alignment between IT initiatives and Enterprise’s mission-driven objectives, fostering trust and collaboration at the highest levels.
  • • Day to day, you will lead the IT Business Partnership team in analyzing and mapping business processes to identify inefficiencies, utilizing process modeling tools to facilitate communication between IT and business units, and collaborating with stakeholders to document, refine, and optimize workflows in alignment with IT capabilities.
  • • You will oversee the IT demand management process, ensuring efficient decision-making around project intake and prioritization, while facilitating the creation of comprehensive business cases that emphasize the value, ROI, and strategic impact of technology initiatives.
  • • You will act as the primary liaison between IT and business units, advocating for business needs within IT, driving adoption of innovative solutions, and ensuring effective communication and alignment across departments to break down silos and enhance cross-functional collaboration.
  • • You will lead and develop a high-performing team of IT Business Partners and Analysts, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration, while mentoring staff and supporting their professional growth and engagement.
  • • You will identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies and industry trends to transform business operations, championing initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce costs, enhance customer satisfaction, and directly support Enterprise’s mission of expanding access to safe, affordable housing.
  • • You will contribute to Enterprise’s culture of equity and inclusion by driving systems change, supporting racial equity goals, and ensuring IT strategies reflect and advance the organization’s commitment to serving underserved communities.
  • • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in strategic IT governance, business process optimization, and executive-level stakeholder engagement, while gaining visibility into how technology enables social impact at scale in a mission-driven nonprofit environment.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 10+ years of leadership experience in IT, business relationship management, or project management, with proven success in aligning technology with business objectives.
  • • 5+ years of people management experience, demonstrating ability to lead, develop, and motivate high-performing teams in complex, matrixed environments.
  • • Expertise in business process management, including process mapping, modeling, and optimization, with hands-on experience using process modeling tools to drive efficiency and cross-functional alignment.
  • • Demonstrated track record of collaborating with senior executives, including C-suite leaders, to influence strategy, shape IT roadmaps, and drive adoption of technology solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • • Extensive background in IT demand management, strategic planning, and program management, with experience creating compelling business cases that prioritize initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees and relevant certifications (e.g., BRM, MBRM, Six Sigma, BPM) are highly desirable.
