đź“‹ Description

  • • Redox, Inc. is at the forefront of revolutionizing healthcare through data interoperability, enabling seamless and real-time exchange of critical health information. Our platform, Redox Engine, is the backbone of this transformation, connecting over 12,000 systems and organizations, including more than 100 Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. We process an astounding 1.2 billion messages monthly, serving a diverse clientele of health tech vendors, providers, payers, EHRs, and life sciences companies. As we continue to scale and innovate, the integrity and security of our systems and data are paramount.
  • • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of IT & Security, CISO, to join our dynamic technology leadership team. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), this pivotal role will be instrumental in shaping and executing our enterprise-wide security strategy, overseeing cloud infrastructure security, application security, and corporate IT operations. This is a hands-on position where you will not only strategize but also actively contribute to the implementation and management of our security and IT frameworks.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to lead and mature our security engineering, security operations, and corporate IT functions. This involves building and maintaining a robust security posture that protects our sensitive data and critical infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with our Engineering, Platform, and Operations teams to ensure that security and reliability are not afterthoughts, but are deeply embedded into the very fabric of how Redox develops, deploys, and operates its software and internal systems.
  • • A key aspect of this role is fostering a culture of security awareness and best practices across the entire organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security policies, procedures, and controls that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. This includes managing risk assessments, vulnerability management programs, incident response planning, and business continuity/disaster recovery strategies.
  • • In the realm of cloud security, you will be tasked with securing our cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring compliance, and optimizing security configurations. This will involve implementing robust access controls, network security measures, data encryption, and continuous monitoring to detect and respond to threats effectively.
  • • For application security, you will work with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC), promoting secure coding practices, conducting security reviews, and managing application vulnerability testing.
  • • On the corporate IT front, you will oversee the management and security of our internal IT infrastructure, including endpoints, networks, and business applications. This encompasses ensuring the availability, performance, and security of systems that support our employees' daily work, thereby enhancing overall productivity and employee experience.
  • • Success in this role will be measured by the strength of our security posture, the resilience and reliability of our internal systems, and the creation of an employee experience that is seamless and efficient, allowing the business to operate at peak performance without security impediments. You will be a key influencer in driving technological excellence and ensuring that Redox remains a trusted partner in the healthcare data ecosystem.
  • • This is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact at a rapidly growing company that is making a tangible difference in healthcare. You will have the autonomy to shape our security and IT landscape, working with cutting-edge technologies and a talented team dedicated to our mission. If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for security and a proven ability to lead and execute, we encourage you to apply.
