  • • As Director of Paid Media at Directive Consulting LLC, you will lead a high-performing team of Associate Directors responsible for managing sophisticated paid media campaigns for top-tier B2B and SaaS clients, ensuring alignment with Directive’s proprietary DiscoverabilityOS methodology and driving measurable business outcomes through strategic oversight and operational excellence.
  • • You will translate executive strategy into clear, actionable weekly priorities for your team, eliminate ambiguity in execution, and establish structural accountability so that excellence becomes the baseline — not the aspiration — while fostering a culture where proactive communication and early escalation prevent client friction before it arises.
  • • You will own the quality of all client-facing deliverables by building consistent QA cadences and feedback loops, ensuring every campaign reflects rigorous standards in LTV:CAC modeling, pipeline attribution, Share of SERP, and Functional Content before it reaches the client.
  • • You will serve as the trusted senior point of contact for clients during high-stakes moments, leading monthly leadership meetings and providing calm, credible guidance when relationships require senior attention, leveraging your deep experience to diagnose issues and chart clear paths forward.
  • • You will optimize team capacity and utilization by strategically matching Associate Directors to account complexity based on skill and readiness, maintaining visibility into workload to support both performance outcomes and department gross margin, while owning the full hiring lifecycle — from sourcing to finalist presentations — to hire for potential, not just immediate role fit.
  • • You will invest in the professional growth of your team by identifying readiness for promotion, coaching Associate Directors to reach their ceiling, and creating conditions where high-caliber practitioners consistently perform at their best, all while staying ahead of industry trends including AI and automation in performance marketing.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 8+ years of paid media experience, with significant time spent as a Director or Associate Director at a B2B or SaaS-focused agency, demonstrating proven ability to lead experienced practitioners and drive results at scale.
  • • Deep fluency in paid search and paid social platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn required), with programmatic experience considered a plus, alongside mastery of B2B performance measurement including LTV:CAC modeling, pipeline attribution, and SQL-focused goal setting.
  • • Strong financial literacy at the department level, including P&L awareness, utilization management, and the ability to connect staffing decisions to margin outcomes, combined with operational instincts built from building and living without systems.
