- • As Director of People at Ashby Inc., you will lead and scale the People function in a high-growth, remote-first SaaS company, building on existing HR foundations to support expansion from hundreds to over a thousand employees.
- • You will lead a growing People team (~6 initially, scaling to 15+), overseeing HRBP, HR Generalist, and People Specialist teams while driving innovation in HR processes, systems, and data-driven decision-making.
- • You will partner with Product, Finance, and Leadership teams to influence product development, ensure compliance, optimize operational efficiency, and serve as an internal and external thought leader on HR technology and best practices.
- • You will shape HR strategy through process redesign, performance management frameworks, total rewards overhaul, global compliance, and employee experience initiatives, including organizing company-wide and departmental offsites.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience leading a People or HR team of 15+ members in a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
- • Demonstrated success in scaling HR functions from ~500 to over 1,000 employees, including process design, system implementation, and organizational development.
- • Deep expertise in HR technology, HRIS systems, and leveraging data analytics to improve people processes and decision-making.
- • Strong background in HRBP, Total Rewards, performance management, or another core HR function with ability to operate as a trusted advisor across departments.
- • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with experience driving change, creating documentation, and speaking to internal and external audiences including customers and at conferences.
- • Comfort with ambiguity and change, with a track record of thriving in evolving environments and managing multiple priorities across HR strategy, operations, and employee experience.
