Furthermore, you will create and implement frameworks to rigorously evaluate the Return on Investment (ROI) for compute and infrastructure expenditures. This evaluation will span across various products, features, model configurations, and user segments, with the ultimate goal of informing strategic investment and optimization decisions. To foster alignment and transparency, you will establish and lead a durable cross-functional forum dedicated to compute economics. This forum will convene key stakeholders from Product, Infrastructure, Capacity Planning, and Finance to collaboratively discuss and inform critical decisions regarding resource allocation, utilization optimization, and margin trade-offs. You will also lead weekly margin review meetings and conduct monthly Budget vs. Actual (BvA) analyses, working in close partnership with the Accounting and Corporate Finance teams to ensure alignment on internal metrics and reporting standards.
  • • To support executive leadership and the Board of Directors, you will prepare high-quality, insightful materials that clearly articulate financial performance, strategic recommendations, and key risks and opportunities. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the financial trajectory of groundbreaking AI products at the forefront of technological innovation. You will operate at the dynamic intersection of strategy, finance, and technology, contributing directly to OpenAI's mission of ensuring that artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity. If you possess a passion for driving sustainable growth, optimizing product performance, and navigating complex financial landscapes within a rapidly scaling technology company, this role presents an exceptional career advancement opportunity.
