  • • Lead, coach, and develop a global team of SaaS Business Development Managers (BDMs) who serve as subject matter experts (SMEs) for PTC's cutting-edge SaaS solutions, with a primary focus on accelerating the growth and transformation of Windchill+.
  • • Establish clear priorities, performance expectations, and robust operating rhythms to drive consistency, accountability, and scale across the global BDM organization.
  • • Actively support the hiring, onboarding, comprehensive enablement, and ongoing professional development of the SaaS BDM team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
  • • Shape and continuously refine the SaaS value propositions and compelling messaging for PTC's offerings, working in close collaboration with Product Management, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure market resonance and competitive differentiation.
  • • Drive the execution and ongoing optimization of SaaS Go-To-Market (GTM) motions across all regions and sales segments, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy and market dynamics.
  • • Serve as a strategic partner to the field sales organization, providing expert guidance and support to accelerate SaaS adoption, enhance deal velocity, and improve overall execution quality.
  • • Continuously evolve and improve processes, engagement models, and essential tools to increase speed, clarity, efficiency, and effectiveness within the SaaS BDM function.
  • • Manage and oversee the global SaaS pipeline and forecasting processes in close partnership with Sales leadership, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights.
  • • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics related to pipeline health, deal influence, GTM effectiveness, and overall SaaS business growth, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
  • • Design and implement scalable programs, targeted sales plays, and essential enablement assets that simplify and empower sellers to effectively position and close SaaS deals.
  • • Standardize best practices across the global field organization and drive consistent adoption of successful strategies and methodologies.
  • • Partner closely with Enablement and Marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging, comprehensive readiness, and effective rollout of new SaaS initiatives and campaigns.
  • • Provide strategic guidance and hands-on support for high-impact, complex SaaS opportunities, ensuring optimal positioning and value realization for customers.
  • • Guide BDMs in creative problem-solving approaches, focusing on articulating value, effectively overcoming objections, and aligning PTC's SaaS solutions to specific customer business outcomes and strategic objectives.
  • • Act as a prominent SaaS evangelist both internally and externally, influencing executive stakeholders, key customers, and strategic partners to champion PTC's SaaS vision and capabilities.
  • • Foster a collaborative environment where innovation and customer-centricity are paramount, driving the successful transformation of businesses through PTC's advanced SaaS offerings.
  • • Ensure deep understanding and articulation of the business value associated with on-premises to SaaS transformations, guiding customers through complex transitions.
  • • Leverage strong operational and analytical skills to drive execution and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team and across GTM functions.
  • • Navigate ambiguity with a creative, solution-oriented mindset, developing pragmatic solutions to complex challenges.
  • • Manage multiple competing priorities effectively, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to drive initiatives forward simultaneously.
  • • Partner effectively with senior leadership (VP/SVP-level) to shape GTM strategy, define strategic priorities, and ensure successful execution of SaaS initiatives.
  • • Communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively, with excellent executive-level presentation skills to engage diverse audiences.
  • • Lead and inspire overlay sales teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on achieving ambitious SaaS growth targets.
  • • Demonstrate a strong understanding of SaaS business models, GTM motions, and enterprise sales cycles, applying this knowledge to drive strategic decisions and tactical execution.
  • • Possess a working knowledge of cloud platforms and SaaS architectures, including single- and multi-tenant environments, to effectively guide technical and business discussions.
  • • Drive a global perspective, understanding and adapting strategies to diverse regional market conditions and customer needs.
