  • • Build GameChanger’s sales function from the ground up as the first Director of Sales, defining strategy, systems, and team structure for scalable revenue growth.
  • • Design and implement core sales infrastructure including CRM, pipeline management, forecasting processes, and reporting frameworks to support data-driven decision-making.
  • • Develop sales playbooks, pricing and packaging models, and commission structures aligned with B2B and B2B2C go-to-market strategies.
  • • Hire, lead, and scale a high-performing sales team encompassing new business development and account management roles.
  • • Personally lead and close high-impact deals in two key verticals: Basketball (B2B2C) with clubs and organizations, and Diamond Sports (B2B) with baseball and softball leagues and tournaments.
  • • Establish and execute a repeatable sales motion to drive adoption among coaches, club directors, and program leaders across youth sports communities.
  • • Build a structured account management approach to maximize customer retention, expansion, and lifetime value across existing clients.
  • • Define the full customer lifecycle—from acquisition to long-term growth—and partner closely with Customer Success to align on outcomes.
  • • Collaborate with Product leadership to translate customer insights into roadmap priorities and product enhancements.
  • • Work with Marketing to develop demand generation campaigns, positioning strategies, and messaging that support sales initiatives.
  • • Align with executive leadership on go-to-market strategy, growth targets, and market expansion plans across multiple sports verticals.
  • • Carry and deliver against quarterly and annual revenue targets with strong forecasting discipline and pipeline health.
  • • Engage directly with key stakeholders in youth sports organizations to understand pain points, build trust, and drive adoption of GameChanger’s platform.
  • • Create scalable processes for onboarding new partners, activating usage among teams and families, and expanding adoption within existing accounts.
  • • Maintain compliance with state tax regulations by only engaging in recruitment and employment activities in permitted U.S. states.
  • • Operate as a hybrid strategic leader and hands-on sales operator, balancing executive responsibilities with direct deal closure.
  • • Represent GameChanger’s mission to elevate youth sports through technology by demonstrating deep understanding of the needs of athletes, families, coaches, and volunteers.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7–10+ years of sales experience, including leadership roles in a B2B or B2B2C environment
  • • 4+ years of experience managing a sales team
  • • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets
  • • Experience building and scaling a sales function (team, tools, process)
  • • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot)
  • • Experience in sports, SaaS, marketplaces, or multi-sided platforms
