- • As Director of Sales Enablement at Cloudera, you will serve as the enablement business partner to the Americas regional Sales Leaders, ensuring local enablement needs are met while leading global initiatives, reinforcement, and coaching in the region. You will also act as the global owner for Sales Methodology enablement programs and their continuous improvement.
- • Day to day, you will project manage methodology vendor selection, build skills programs for Sales Managers and leaders, maintain a global methodology refresh committee, and partner with regional sales leadership to align enablement with regional priorities. You will maintain regular touchpoints with regional sales leaders to identify needs and devise outcome-driven initiatives, including creating materials and programming to support them.
- • You will engage directly with live deals, account plans, sales team meetings, forecast calls, and QBRs to stay attuned to market dynamics, and collaborate with regional leaders in Operations, Field Marketing, Product Marketing, HR, Partner Sales, and other stakeholders to drive sales productivity and effectiveness.
- • You will ensure new hires in Sales and Solutions Engineering successfully complete their onboarding journey, coach them for advancement, plan quarterly live skill enhancement sessions (with each sales manager’s team included twice yearly), build new skills and sales process workshops with curriculum designers, and partner with the SE Program Manager to support regional SE teams.

🎯 Requirements
- • Overall combination of 10+ years of professional experience in sales and enablement roles
- • 5 years experience as an Account Manager/Executive in Enterprise software (required), with preference for data management, analytics, or AI software expertise, or PaaS
- • 3 years in an Enablement role, teaching & coaching: selling skills, opportunity management, deal reviews and/or account planning, in Enterprise software (required)
- • 3 years in a sales manager role and/or as a sales coach to opportunity progression in complex enterprise software sales
- • Experience selling using MEDDIC/MEDDPICC or another professional qualification framework or selling methodology for Opportunity Management (required)
- • Prefer a Certified Trainer for a professional selling methodology or qualification framework (MEDDPICC preferred)
- • Salesforce.com expertise
- • Experience with one or more of the following: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom Info, DemandBase, SalesLoft, Clari
