  • • The Director of Sales Performance for the Central Region at Universal Forest Products, Inc. (operating through United Flow Technologies) is a strategic leadership role focused on enhancing sales effectiveness across multiple representative firms in the region. This position is critical to driving long-term growth by strengthening seller performance, accelerating onboarding, and ensuring consistent execution of sales processes.
  • • Day to day, the role involves collaborating closely with Regional Presidents and sales leaders to design and implement sales enablement strategies, coach sales teams on best practices, and support the rollout of strategic commercial initiatives. The incumbent will analyze performance metrics, identify skill gaps, and develop targeted training and development programs to improve consistency and results.
  • • United Flow Technologies, established in July 2021, is a rapidly growing platform dedicated to investing in and advancing solutions for the municipal and industrial water and wastewater markets. By partnering with industry-leading businesses, UFT has built a national footprint in process, pump, automation & control, and related equipment solutions, with a mission to expand access to clean water across the United States.
  • • In this role, the individual will have the opportunity to shape sales performance frameworks, influence organizational effectiveness at a regional level, and gain deep exposure to technical, multi-stakeholder sales environments. Success in this position can lead to broader leadership opportunities within the organization as UFT continues to scale its national platform.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in sales performance, enablement, or coaching roles within technical or complex sales environments
  • • Strong ability to influence and coach sales teams and leaders without direct authority
  • • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing sales processes, onboarding programs, and performance improvement initiatives
  • • Experience working with multi-stakeholder environments and aligning cross-functional teams around commercial goals
  • • Background in industries such as water/wastewater, industrial equipment, or technical sales is preferred
  • • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills with a data-driven approach to performance improvement
