  • • As a Director of Strategic Accounts (DSA) on the Tanium Federal field sales team, you will generate opportunities to position the Tanium platform within an assigned FEDERAL territory and/or accounts, driving superior customer experience by delivering technology solutions tailored to customer needs and exceeding assigned quota.
  • • You will articulate the value of the Tanium platform to Federal Civilian accounts including Treasury, Federal Financials, Transportation, and Independents, while nurturing and developing relationships within your territory and presenting to C-suite stakeholders.
  • • You will collaborate with Partner and Marketing teams to define and support prospecting and sales efforts, generate sales development activity for healthy pipeline management, accurately forecast with excellent SFDC hygiene, and conduct online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads.
  • • You will travel as needed and leverage your existing network of partners (FSIs, VARs, and distributors) to enable rapid growth and exceed sales objectives, while evangelizing and building new business opportunities within your assigned territory.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Significant enterprise software sales experience generating and closing large and complex software transactions with the Federal Civilian Government
  • • Proven success selling within Federal Civilian agencies, specifically Treasury, Federal Financials, Transportation, and Independents
  • • Proven track record of exceeding quota
  • • Experience calling on and presenting to C-Suite level contacts
  • • Background leveraging existing network of partners (FSIs, VARs and distributors) to enable rapid growth and exceed sales objectives
  • • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • • Candidates must be based in the DC Metro area

  • • Annual base salary range of $139,000 to $213,000 with commission eligibility
