- • As the Director of Talent Acquisition at Fira Health, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing our talent acquisition strategy, ensuring we attract, engage, and hire the best individuals to drive our mission forward. This pivotal leadership role, reporting directly to the VP of HR, will empower you to manage and mentor a high-performing team of up to 10 recruiters, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire recruitment lifecycle across diverse business functions, including critical clinical roles, essential office staff up to Branch Director level, and dynamic sales professionals up to Regional Sales Manager.
- • Your leadership will extend to strategic talent planning, where you will collaborate closely with District leadership to guarantee exceptional satisfaction from District General Managers regarding our talent acquisition efforts. This partnership is key to aligning our hiring strategies with the operational needs and growth objectives of each district.
- • A core aspect of your role will be performance management. You will meticulously monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) that are vital to our success. This includes driving down time to fill, elevating branch and general manager satisfaction scores, improving new hire retention rates, and ensuring optimal branch staffing metrics are consistently met. Your data-driven approach will be crucial in identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
- • Innovation and process improvement are paramount. You will be tasked with continuously evaluating and enhancing our recruiting processes, exploring and implementing cutting-edge tools, and leveraging technology to boost efficiency and deliver an outstanding candidate experience. This proactive approach ensures Fira Health remains competitive in the talent market.
- • Building and nurturing strong relationships with branch directors, general managers, and regional sales managers is essential. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring clear communication and alignment on hiring needs, priorities, and expectations, thereby fostering a collaborative and supportive hiring environment.
- • Upholding the highest standards of compliance and best practices is non-negotiable. You will ensure that all recruiting activities strictly adhere to employment laws and company policies, while simultaneously championing and implementing industry best practices to maintain a fair, equitable, and effective recruitment process.

- • Key responsibilities will include:
- • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of up to 10 recruiters, cultivating a high-performance environment focused on quality hires and operational efficiency.
- • Overseeing the full-cycle recruitment process, from strategic sourcing and candidate screening to interviewing, offer negotiation, and seamless onboarding for clinical, administrative, and sales positions.
- • Partnering with district leadership to ensure high levels of satisfaction among hiring managers and branch leadership.
- • Developing and implementing strategies to reduce time-to-fill while maintaining high-quality candidate selection.
- • Analyzing recruitment data to identify trends, measure success, and implement data-driven improvements.
- • Enhancing the candidate experience through optimized processes and effective use of recruitment technologies.
- • Ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and company policies.
- • Proactively identifying and addressing staffing needs across all branches to support operational demands.
- • Collaborating with marketing and employer branding teams to develop compelling recruitment marketing strategies.
- • Staying abreast of market trends and competitor activities to inform talent acquisition strategies.
- • Managing the recruitment budget effectively and ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- • Implementing and refining diversity and inclusion initiatives within the recruitment process.
- • Developing and delivering training to hiring managers on effective interviewing and selection techniques.
- • Building a strong talent pipeline for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
- • Utilizing various sourcing channels, including social media, professional networks, and industry events, to attract passive and active candidates.
- • Ensuring a positive and professional experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment journey.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 4 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, with at least 3 years in a dedicated leadership role managing and developing recruiting teams.
- • Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting for clinical, office (up to Branch Director), and sales (up to Regional Sales Manager) roles, with a strong preference for experience within the healthcare or a related industry.
- • Demonstrated success in leading, mentoring, and motivating recruiting teams to achieve ambitious hiring goals and foster a high-performance culture.
- • Strong analytical skills and a proven track record of using data to track, analyze, and improve key recruiting metrics such as time to fill, candidate satisfaction, and retention rates.
- • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
- • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), various recruiting tools, and HR technology platforms, with the ability to evaluate and implement new technologies.
