- • Lead the global tax and regulatory compliance function for a 1,300-person consulting firm with seven entities worldwide, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant operations across multiple jurisdictions while supporting the company’s continued growth.
- • Drive the firm’s global tax strategy, planning, and governance, partnering cross-functionally with finance, legal, and external advisors to align tax initiatives with business objectives.
- • Oversee tax compliance processes including federal, state, local, and international filings, managing audits, and ensuring adherence to evolving regulatory requirements across all operating regions.
- • Develop and implement tax policies, controls, and procedures to mitigate risk, improve efficiency, and support scalability as the firm expands globally.
- • Provide strategic tax guidance to leadership on transactions, entity structuring, and operational decisions, optimizing tax efficiency while maintaining full compliance.
- • Mentor and develop a high-performing tax team, fostering collaboration, technical excellence, and accountability in alignment with the company’s Core Values of collaboration, enthusiasm, generosity, and perseverance.
- • Stay current on global tax legislation, OECD initiatives, and regulatory changes, proactively advising the organization on implications and adaptive strategies.
🎯 Requirements
- • CPA or equivalent tax credential (e.g., JD, LLM in Tax) with 10+ years of progressive tax experience, including significant international tax compliance and planning.
- • Proven experience managing global tax functions in multi-entity, multi-jurisdictional environments, preferably within professional services or consulting firms.
- • Deep expertise in U.S. federal, state, and local tax compliance, as well as international tax frameworks including transfer pricing, FATCA, CRS, and BEPS.
- • Strong leadership and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and partner effectively with finance, legal, and external advisors.
- • Experience implementing tax technology solutions and process automation to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
