📋 Description

• • The Director, Partnerships – Strategic Market Solutions (SMS) will identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships that expand Xpansiv’s global environmental market footprint, playing a critical role in advancing the energy transition through credible, auditable environmental claims.
• • Day to day, the role involves identifying and structuring partnerships across carbon, REC/I-REC, water, fuels, and power markets; developing commercial proposals; leading end-to-end negotiations; overseeing registry and exchange integrations into Xpansiv Connect™ via open APIs; owning executive-level partner relationships; and coordinating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Market Operations, Legal, and Commercial teams.
• • Xpansiv is a global leader in environmental commodity markets, backed by Blackstone and other leading investors, with a platform encompassing registries, online marketplaces, market execution services, wholesale power solutions, and market data for energy and environmental commodities, trusted worldwide to support transparency and accountability in climate action.
• • In this role, the individual will drive high-impact market development initiatives such as launching new carbon compliance exchanges, building I-REC marketplaces with local issuers, and representing Xpansiv in global market forums, gaining deep influence over the strategic direction of environmental markets while building a legacy of scalable, sustainable infrastructure.
